Great book, as are all of the Dummy Book Series. Easy to understand. usually shows you more than one way to do something, detailed and as in depth as you wish to or not to dive into the details. Excellent for beginners, great for intermediate. I have used Dummy Books for everything from Widows XP to Windows &, Buddisim, Guitar and many more subjects. Love them all in the Dummiefs series.

This is a good, concise, introduction to these versions of QUICKEN. It gets you started, answers basic questions, and gives "tips 'n' tricks". All in all, it is a great resource for 'openers'. Recommended.

Screen shots too small
The verbiage in this product seems to be sufficient, but the screenshots are too small and hard to ascertain. If you’re a visual learner, it is hard to read these.

Good tutorial
I have used Quicken before . This has helped me to set up and resume using it after several years away from it.

Lots of info. The print is very small.
The print is so small I may need a magnifying glass for the smaller high density sections.

Doesn't replace the (red) Quicken book, but a useful addition.
You would still need the primary (red) Quicken book, but this has additional useful information. The book layout is scattered, so you have to hunt for things, but it includes more detailed information on some topics than the Quicken book. Unfortunately, it appears they have stopped publishing this books for newer versions of Quickn.

I have taken on a Power of Attorney for a friend; learned the program while putting my finances on it and then put his in order.... what a great program!

While this book is well-written and logically organised its illustrations leave a lot to be desired. Headings etc are printed so small that they are at times illegible viewed through even a powerful magnifying glass. A big drawback to a novice to Quicken. However a seasoned user of Quicken would rate this book higher.
