Super Comedy
Itโs definitely more than I expected. I love the hidden pocket for a laptop. And the option to attatch stuff. I can Carry my topo belt bag this way. The quality is amazing. Just sorry I had to order via USA since this colour was no more avaible in Europe.

Separate compartment for laptop AND water reservoir
Satisfies what I have been searching for years: - Laptop compartment SEPARATE from the water reservoir compartment. - Sturdy enough and with enough features to actually hike with on ones travels. - great design with a comfortable hip belt that has added functional storage. - attractive colors and varying options.

Great pack, with a quirk
Like all things Topo, this pack is great. The quality and durability are top-notch, and the design concept, overall, is great. Unlike some previous (and current) Topo pack models, this one has side pockets that are actually functional for stuffing water bottles. I also have the Mountain pack, which is a 16L size, and very similar in design. I got this one to have a bit more room, for travel or longer trips. For me, the 22L size of this pack is enough that I could probably even do an overnight backpacking trip with it. It has plenty of ways for mounting extra gear externally, and the back panel is rigid enough for it to almost pass as an "internal frame" pack. There's one aspect of the pack that I don't quite grok, and honestly don't like, however: it has a zip panel on the face of the pack that opens to allow access into the main compartment. And... ...well... ...I don't get it. It's not a feature that I anticipate ever using, and to me it just adds weight and complexity where it isn't needed. I haven't yet decided if it's a big enough annoyance to actually send it back. This is sort-of par for the course when it comes to Topo, however, and I weirdly almost look at it as part of the **charm** of owning a Topo bag: they get almost everything right, but then there will be one single element of every pack or bag that's a bit strange or annoying. I'll say this for the brand: for what you pay, the packs are a good value. They are much less expensive than super premium brands like Bellroy, Mission Workshop, Mystery Ranch, et al., and as far as I can tell are every bit at that level of quality.

Great for smaller body types.
I Am a small framed female. It is somewhat difficult to find a pack that actually fits me and not floats on me. If you're small, you'll know what I mean. The hip straps are very comfortable, and alleviated the neck, shoulder and back strain I usually have after a long travel day. The construction is sturdy as is the materials. The side pockets are awesomely large (no struggling to get your bottles in them). The interior is a bit small (less capacity than most packs), but it has bedroll straps and jacket straps that add to the capacity. Overall I Am very pleased with it.

Very well made for a shorter torso.
To get the "bad" out of the way. This is for a short torsoed person. I'm 6 2 and the waist belt hits me around the belly. So... The build is outstanding. This is a top-load style with a draw string, but also a back zipper access. The string lock is one I hadn't seen before and it took me a minute to figure out. Once I did, the operation of closing the draw string and opening is fast and fluid-much better than your standard cord lock. There are plenty of attachment points and chest strap is easily adjustable. This is a really nice pack. 100% recommended.

Incredibly well designed
This is my first Topo Design pack but I own bags by patagonia, cotopaxia, and North Face and have a number of others to compare it to. This easily fits into that tier. It is clear that a lot of thought went into the design of this bag. There is access to the main compartment via both the cinch top and the J shaped zipper which is the best of both worlds. This allows you to organize the pack much better than just shoving everything in a cinch top and get to the bottom of the pack without pulling everything out but you still have the rapid access of a cinch top when needed and can easily stick a jacket or larger item in and out. This also has GIANT water bottle pockets which are much more robust than other brands. It accepts a nalgene easily and does not sag or deform with repeat use like some other bags I have used. The back is nicely padded and easy to wear for a full days, the materials all feel very premium and it has a flat bottom which allows it to stand upright on its own. Has plenty of compression straps for easy adjustability. Really impressed and has taken over from several other bags as my go to travel and around town pack.

Love it!
The bag is amazing! I just took it on a trip from the US to the Philippines. It held a weeks worth of clothes and my laptop with not problems. Touring through the Philippines with this attached to the back of my scooter and it's been awesome! This is super strong with all the abuse that I've been throwing at it! Oh and LOVE the colors!

Day Pack
Picked this up as a walk around pack and for that I think it does a great job. Not too large and not too small. I would say it tends to lean on the smaller side of medium though. Pack is pretty comfortable and I really like the color combination. This would be something that you could take a few snacks maybe a bottle of wine and enjoy if you at sunset with Windsor family pretty easily. I have not wanted for any length of time, but the padding seems like it is on par with what you would expect.
