As a music producer + mixing and mastering engineer which wanted something separating work life and casual listening, i absolutely adore these earphones, i was finding a replacement for my beats studio buds as the battery malfunction and also don’t want to keep using my studio headphones for casual listening, I didn’t want to pay £120 for some airpods so i settled with these. First time trying this brand and wanted something similar in sound quality to my studio headphones (DT990). First thing i noticed was the bass on these earphones. At first i didn’t really like it but after breaking into them and trying all sorts of different genres i started to really like it. Its bassy but bassy to the point where its a balanced bass, prominent but still allows the mids to cut through. Playing metal, the bass from the drums and low strings of the guitar is amazing but still allows the vocals and the midtones of the guitar to really pop. The high ends are rolled off but still out there, not fatiguing unlike my dt 990 if i wanted to use them for casual listening. The sound stage on these are amazing, nice and wide feels like ur in a cinema. Pop and EDM is amazing especially with the sub bass. The sound is fabulous, really similar to my beyerdynamic dt 990 pro minus the bass. The quality is similar to airpods with a matte finish, theres no app or EQ adjustments on these, could be a con but i don’t mind it. These fit amazingly doesn’t fall out my ears AND i can barely feel it in my ears. Bought these for £60 would recommend these to anyone. For the general population who isn’t into deep audio frequencies and whatnot these would be amazing if your going for something a bit bassy.

Overrated brand. Not any good at all

I love the sennheiser brand since I purchased there gameone headset and amp for my pc/ps5 setup. So I went with these after my AirPods died for general use. So glad I did. These are so much better. Sound is deeper, crisper, clearer and louder! Amazing value. They fit nicer than AirPods do and are more comfortable over longer periods of time. Would 100% recommend these to anyone

Poor range If you step away 5 meters from your phone it loses connection and I don't want to mention the controls are awful sometimes yiu can not answer or terminate the call absolute rubbish Unfortunately i can't return them cause i forgot about it and the return window is closed

I'm giving these 5 Stars for the best sounding Earbuds I have ever had. The functionality and touch controls did exactly what I wanted them to do so and quality of calls was crisp clear as well. Even though regretfully I had to return them due to me having ears on the smaller side I will still rate these as the best ones on the market.

First off. These look and feel like a premium product. Very solid and just have “that feel”. They are heavily ‘inspired’ by the standard AirPods so because of this these either will fit and stay in your ears or they just won’t. For me the right stays in nicely but the left kind of slips out and I can never get the fit right. Once in they are mostly comfortable but never disappear in your ears, you’re always aware you've got earphones in. Due to the design there are some sharp edges around the mesh which I feel particularly. For earbuds which I guess you would class as ‘open’ as in they do not go into your ear canal forming a seal these sound surprisingly and frankly shockingly good. Usually these kinds of earbuds are useless but not these. Sennheiser claim that they have classic Sennheiser tuning but no, they really don’t. They also DO NOT like EQ. Overall sound quality is great as you get lots of detail and clarity. Highs don’t make your ears bleed and there is lots of Bass. There is actually way too much bass. I actually took all EQ off when using these as the bass was actually u pleasant and bordering on painful which sounds odd and it is odd. However at the price these are you’re getting a lot of great sound quality for reasonably little. Battery life is really good and there’s a decent battery in the case to give you plenty of listening time. There are no indicators on the case or anything to show charge levels so you’ll have to figure that out for yourself. There’s some things I really don’t like about these earbuds though so here goes. The Bass. I’ve mentioned it but for a company famous for its warm and neutral tuning the bass is weird and I kind of hate it. The touch controls are utterly and completely useless. I wish companies would stop capacitive controls and go back to buttons. All capacitive controls are garbage and these are some of the worst I’ve ever used. Mic quality is garbage. No one can hear me on these even when inside my house doing nothing. I would hate to use outside. These are basically unusable for calls. There is no app I can find to update the earbuds, change the rubbish controls or tweak the sounds. Usually I CBA with apps but these earbuds desperately need some ability to be modified. These could have been really, really great for the price offered but weird and frankly dumb design choices make these only okay

Good quality sound for reasonable price.

First of all, most earbuds of this type fit me well, so I had no fitment issues. I used AirPods 3 before, and these are much better. With these, I can actually enjoy listening to music. The tuning suits my taste really well. I also use them for calls, and the feedback has been good - my voice sounds clear, with no complaints. I tested them on both iOS and Android; both use phone OS software noise reduction, but the microphones themselves are good. For work meetings I have external mic. The build quality is very solid. I previously returned the Sony WF-C710N because they felt very cheap, compared to them this earbuds case is premium. I also like the design of these earbuds - it feels fresh. The case is small and pocketable. No complaints at all. I have another pair of earbuds specifically for the gym that blocks noise; these ones are for Apple TV and calls, podcast, occasional music. Of course, expectations should be realistic. Apple 3.5mm EarPods that 5 times cheaper than these - sounds much better, just because it's not Bluetooth. I returned Apple AirPods 3 Pro as well. Because how they fit, and the design is not for me, and I didn't like the sound at all. So I like these much more. Much better deal for me. I bought Cambridge Audio A100 for gym and have some budget left. Highly recommended.

Inside the outer packaging, the earbuds come in their own product box and are adequately protected from damage during transit. The box contains the earbuds, the charging case, a charging cable (no plug top) and product documentation. The Quick Start guide is enough to get started but the User Guide is a must have. You can Google the pdf or get it from Sennheiser’s website. With Amazon’s Open Box Inspection service, you can check the product for damage and confirm that all accessories are present at the time of delivery. It is important to note that open box inspection does not include actual testing of the earbuds to confirm if they are working. For my order, the product was non-returnable, with replacement available only through a service center. Since my earbuds are working, I cannot provide any feedback on the replacement process. The earbuds are made of polycarbonate and the look and feel are somewhat less than premium. However, this is not an issue for me because I purchased the earbuds for sound quality and not for the way they look. The build quality is sturdy and can withstand being dropped or sat on, both of which I have accidentally done. These earbuds fall in the mid-range price category and I think they offer very good audio quality for their price. The clarity and range of the earbuds are excellent; also the audio is very well balanced with lows, mids and highs being equally audible. If you want your earbuds to deliver thumping bass which drowns out the other frequencies then these earbuds are not for you. These are open earbuds so they fit differently from in ear style earbuds, i.e. they sit at the entrance to the ear canal and are not pushed inside it. Naturally, they sound different too. If you’re using open earbuds for the first time, be assured that it is sounding the way it is meant to. The earbuds have not run out of charge yet so I cannot comment about battery life or charging speed. I’ll update the review when I have more information. The ACCENTUM Open does not have an app. This means you do not have an equaliser and cannot customise the touch controls. You will also not receive firmware updates. My previous headphones did not have touch functions so it’s taking me a little time to get used to this feature. However, the controls are intuitive and I’m sure I will become comfortable with it in a few days. As an aside, I can listen to music while lying on my back, but not on my side; the pillow accidentally activates the touch control. All in all, a very decent pair of earbuds. I love the crisp, well-balanced audio, comfortable fit and fast charging. I only wish they came with the Sennheiser app. I would highly recommend the ACCENTUM Open to anyone looking for a pair of open earbuds.
