Hangman Products Inc. TV400-B Anti-Tip Kit for Flatscreen TV

I purchased the Hangman TV kit after installing several of their furniture kits around the house. The all metal construction is great, and it;s really easy to undo if I need to move the TV or stand around for whatever reason.

I have two largish dogs who run around and this was very easy to install so I have peace of mind they won’t knock the TV over

It all works, but I needed to purchase longer bolts for my Samsung TV (ACE Hardware). Tip if you don’t have a stud finder, you can probably use magnets to find the nails in the studs.

This looks like it will work well. I want to trust it - however I refuse to intentionally knock over my $900 tv to find out. But it looks like it will hold. I screwed it right into some studs.

Rock-solid cable and connectors, and I love the removable anchor pins for periodic move-and-vaccuum purposes. Would never go nylon again.

Easy to install and very thoughtfully designed product. These steel cables are way too strong than the flimsy plastic like cables sold by other similarly priced products. A must have if you have a kid and a flat screen TV that is not mounted on wall.

Though this product has some great potential, I found that the screws supplied for the tv side are very short. I was only able to get half a turn with the supplied screws and 1 washer. Had I used the supplied screw and had a decent earthquake I probably wouldn't have a tv. Also the locking washer was attached to the screw so I had to get new lock/crush washers to go with a set of screws.Attached is a picture of the supplied set up on the tv with the treads touching the hole, not even screwed in any.
