Do these boots run big? I bought a pair in my usual size, but returned them because they were too roomy. Should I buy a size down?

I have a wide foot and easily fit 8W, but typically have to wear 8.5 in medium width shoes. After reading all of the reviews, I went with the 8 and they were plenty big without being clunky or loose. They feel warm enough to me with a lightweight or medium weight sock, I like light wool socks.

Ordered an 11 women’s Hunter boot for wife’s bday. Disappointed to receive a sz 5. Will return, but skeptical to reorder! Can you guarantee?

I received the right size the first time.. I would send back and get the right size. The boos are nice and comfortable.

If the “M” indicates regular width, what is the number only size indicate?

Medium width, they are roomy, I wear a 61/2 usually I wear socks with them

I have wide feet, will the medium still fit if I get the next size up?

I have to wear 8.5-9 in medium width shoes, but 8W in the wide width. 8 fits beautifully in these boots.

More bulky than expected

I wear a size 9 and the fit was as expected if not slightly generous. Often I find rain boots run small but these didn’t. They were supportive and pretty comfy. The green color was great. I decided not to keep these because they were kind of roomy around the top of my foot / ankle even with a thick sock. This made them look and feel bulky.
