It will work
It's a little different from others you have to spend a lot of time getting it close but you will get on paper

A great laser sighter solution!
This thing is great! It finally solved my boresighter problem with 32 acp mouse guns like the P32 in which the barrel is too short for a stem type boresighter and no one makes a 32 cartridge style. It just sticks to the end of the barrel and allows me to sight in the other laser. It's easy and close enough. I bought a second one for my cabin.

Fantastic "Get on Paper" boresighter that's rechargeable!
This magnetic boresighter is a fantastic evolution of the bore laser. The bright green laser is visible at 50 yards on overcast days. There are two major improvements: mounting and power.1) The mounting could not be easier. It just sticks to the end of the barrel. If you have a carbon fiber barrel, this may be problematic but for the other 99.995% of firearms, this is a good mounting system. No mandrel or bore collets needed and this no chance of damaging the rifling or crown. 2) I found the laser to be "on paper" square and no shimming with pieces of paper was needed.2) The power is a rechargeable battery that's fed by USB-C. No weird tiny watch batteries that cost more than the device after a while! The ubiquitous USB-C means you don't have to keep track of a charger/power supply. This is a well-thought out item.I used this on a couple lever actions to get the sights properly regulated and was happy. At $1.50-$2.00 per round for some of the fancier flavors, the $40 cost pays for itself almost immediately in ammunition conserved, plus the easy on/off of the magnetic mount makes it easy to precheck your adjustment work at the shooting bench. The device is compact enough that it can live in the range bag toolkit. This is an outstanding value and should make signting in optics and iron sights a quick process on 99 percent of sporting arms.

A surprisingly versatile and convenient bore sighting tool with some accuracy limitations.
When I started looking for a bore sight, I wanted something that was easy to use, didn’t require multiple adapters, and could work across different firearms. I’ve tried cartridge-style bore sights before, but the hassle of needing a separate unit for each caliber quickly turned me off. That’s when I found this magnetic bore sight from CVLIFE. Fast forward when I finally got it in my hands. The build quality was impressive. The aluminum alloy construction felt durable yet lightweight, and the strong magnetic base gave me confidence that it would stay in place. Charging was simple with the USB-C port, and the green laser was bright enough to be visible at a reasonable distance - even in bright California sunlight. Unlike some bore sights that require fiddling with spacers or adapters, this one was as straightforward as placing it on the muzzle and turning it on. I tested it on multiple firearms, from pistols to rifles, and the results were mixed but generally useful. On my bolt-action rifle, the laser was impressively close to my point of aim at 25 yards, requiring only minor adjustments. However, with some of my handguns, I noticed slight inconsistencies - sometimes a few inches off, depending on how well I centered the device. The biggest factor seemed to be how precisely the bore sight was aligned on the muzzle. A small misalignment could throw things off at longer distances, but for getting “on paper” and making initial adjustments before fine-tuning at the range, it did the job well. One issue I ran into was the laser’s visibility in bright conditions. While the green laser was better than a red one, I still had trouble picking it up beyond 50 yards unless I was using a magnified optic. This wasn’t a deal-breaker, but if you’re planning to sight in a rifle at long distances, you’ll need to be in a shaded area or wait for lower light conditions. Another minor downside was the lack of a remote activation switch. Having to press the button on the device itself while setting up my shot made it slightly less convenient, especially when sighting in a rifle on a bench. Overall, this bore sight is an excellent tool for quick and easy alignment, especially if you own multiple firearms and don’t want to invest in caliber-specific options. It’s not as precise as an in-chamber bore sight, but for general use, it’s a fast and convenient way to get started. If you take the time to carefully center it on the muzzle, it can be an incredibly useful addition to your range bag. Recommended!Bottom line:The CVLIFE magnetic bore sight is a convenient, easy-to-use alternative to cartridge-style options, working across multiple firearms without adapters. Its durable aluminum build, strong magnetic base, and bright green laser make initial sighting simple, though precision varies depending on alignment. It performs well for getting “on paper” but struggles with visibility beyond 50 yards in bright conditions. A remote activation switch would improve usability, but overall, it’s a solid, versatile tool for quick alignment. 5 stars, highly recommended!Pros:1. Easy to use with no adapters needed.2. Works on multiple firearms.3. Durable aluminum alloy build.4. Bright green laser visible in daylight.5. USB-C rechargeable.6. Strong magnetic base for stability.Cons:1. Small misalignments affect accuracy.2. Hard to see beyond 50 yards in bright light.3. No remote activation switch.4. Less precise than in-chamber bore sights.

A Convenient and Potentially Accurate Tool for Firearm Sighting
The CVLIFE Rechargeable Green Laser Bore Sight offers a modern approach to firearm sighting, leveraging a magnetic connection and rechargeable functionality to simplify the process. While not a replacement for live-fire zeroing, it can be a valuable tool for getting you on paper and saving ammunition.Pros:Magnetic Connection: The magnetic connection is a standout feature, offering a secure and fast attachment to the muzzle. This eliminates the need for arbors or caliber-specific attachments, making it a more universal solution. It's a significant convenience compared to traditional bore sights.Rechargeable Design: The built-in rechargeable battery is a welcome addition. It eliminates the need for constantly replacing batteries, saving money and reducing waste. The charging cable is typically a common standard (e.g., USB), further adding to the convenience.Green Laser Visibility: The green laser is significantly brighter and easier to see than red lasers, especially in daylight conditions. This makes the bore sighting process easier, particularly at longer distances.Multiple Caliber Compatibility: The universal design, thanks to the magnetic attachment, means it should theoretically work with a wide range of calibers. However, actual performance may vary (see cons).Relatively Affordable: CVLIFE products are often positioned as budget-friendly options, making this bore sight accessible to a wider range of shooters.Ease of Use: The operation is generally straightforward. Simply attach the sight to the muzzle, activate the laser, and adjust your scope or sights to align with the laser dot on the target.
