My copy came with dust behind the screen. The backlight seems to be about 2-3mm behind the pixels. The backlight was even, but the dust between the LCD array and the backlight is going to be a problem.Also, there was a line of stuck pixels. The line appeared to be a dotted line making me suspect the 4K isn't really a 4K but a pentile arrangement.For the premium price, the quality isn't good enough.

I've been using this monitor for a little under a month and its absolutely phenomenal, but it is not without its issues.PROS: The display is breathtaking right out of the box. It comes pre-calibrated, but I ran calibration against it anyhow because I need it to be in sync with my other devices. The correction after hardware sync was exceptionally minimal and very impressive. No light bleed. No weird artifacting. Just a uniformly solid image across all color spreads. The 8K resolution within Windows 10 actually allows me to use the display without needing my glasses; its that sharp. The 60Hz refresh is for real, but you may have to turn it on through the interface in Windows like I did.CONS: Heavy. Don't put this beauty on a rickety stand or desk. You had better have something substantial. It also gets pretty hot--I wouldn't recommend using this in a location where there is insufficient ventilation. If it overheats, you'll be resetting it by removing the power supply cable.UGLY: As far as I can tell, this monitor wants your PCs full attention. Its very jealous and doesn't play well with others. It requires two DP connections like most large format monitors like this, but even with dual display cards and a secondary monitor I couldn't get the Dell to behave itself. It would go into hibernation and not come out. The font scaling to 300% didn't carry over to all elements of Windows/Apps unless it was the only monitor connected as well. Ran the Firmware update against it but that didn't solve the fussiness until I removed my second display. Since doing so, it has performed flawlessly.LASTLY: The performance in Adobe products has been fairly snappy, though I am running dual nVidia 1080's in SLI. Your mileage may vary.Very satisfied owner.

Yes this monitor is still very expensive, but it's about time computer monitors catch up to high resolution displays. Until recently, we were stuck with 4K resolution on big 30+" displays. That's the same resolution as many flagship cell phones with little 5" screens! So I'm glad Dell struck back with this glorious 8K monitor. It's unfortunate that the rating is currently in the pits because of joke 1-star reviews like the guy complaining that Minecraft is still pixelated. If you must post joke reviews, don't torpedo a product that so many people worked hard on by giving 1 star. Monitor shoppers might not even click on this great monitor because they see the low rating.

you get 15 frames per second in fortnite with a 2080 ti but hey its in 8k
