They're very high quality plastic cubes with clean edges, flat 90° sides, and are uniform in size across all the different colors. Another benefit for board games is that they are plastic, not painted wood - so they are not splitting or twisted in shape. Stackable to about 10 high with a steady hand. They also are easily laid down and arranged into symmetrical grids that are easily countable and comparable, just like counting stacks of poker chips.Blue cubes are very dark and are sometimes mistaken for black at a glance. Would have been nice to see a bright blue, more like primary colors.Note: This product has 2 shades of green and NO PINK, unlike some other options.I received a fairly equal mix of Red, Orange, Yellow, lime green, dark green, dark blue, purple, white, brown, black. I counted out white and had 101 of the 100 expected.Cube container is a wide-mouth transparent plastic jar with screw-top lid and handle.

Perfect size and color distribution to use as a class set of manipulatives. I would purchase again!!.

These are great to use designing board games.

I realize most users won't care too much about how precise the "1cm" part of the description is, but for my purposes, it did matter. (They're not far off, maybe 9.5-9.7mm?) I love the colors and look forward to using the cubes in my project with a bit of modification.

Good quality perfect for games

As a professional tabletop game designer, quality and price of simple prototype components for pitching to publishers matters a lot. Ive used these cubes for multiple types of games and have 2 games under review using these cubes instead of others because of color variation and consistent size (plus a great container).

Almost perfectly uniformly finished 1cm cubes. Very nice for use with board games.
