This omni-directional wind meter provides accurate wind speed measurements regardless of position in relation to wind direction. The three-cup impeller ensures accuracy in minimal winds but is strong enough to withstand strong winds. Measurements are shown on a large, backlit LCD. Each waterproof meter floats and features an aluminum base for attachment to a tripod. Protective cap for impeller included.Measures current wind speed, maximum wind speed, and average wind speed. I've had several handheld anemometers and this one is extremely accurate and sensitive. It will read breeze under one mph. Also the impeller moves totally freely because it isn't attached directly to a shaft like all other anemometers. I've had 2 anemometers that were attached to a shaft and they eventually got in a bind and wouldn't work. You can get cheap anemometers from China that are either inaccurate or won't last. This one is well worth the extra money plus it is totally weather proof.

Amazing anemometer
I bought this on Amazon under another account which doesn't exist anymore so I'm hoping Amazon will post this. I've had several handheld anemometers and this one is extremely accurate and sensitive.
