ChicWrap Big Chef Refillable Plastic Wrap Dispenser and 750' of Professional Plastic Wrap - Reusable with Slide Cutter - BPA Free

We love the dispenser. It makes handling easy for one person. No more loss of wrap because it stuck to itself. The dispenser has little knobs on bottom so there is no worry the box will be at risk from a spill. The box it coated as well for longer wear. There are holes where you grab the wrap so there is no hunting for the start after the last use. The cutter slide never fails and is in a location that makes for ease of use. The overall design was very well thought out. Clearly actual cooks were involved. The only draw back would be for counter space. Its anther space hog. We use it so often, the convenience is worth having it available and ready for wrapping.

Purchased for my wife. She had seen it used on some cooking show. Upon arrival, I assembled it, which consisted on putting the roll of plastic wrap in the bottom and putting the larger top over the bottom. The plastic wrap is made for the Dispenser, and much easier to use than most I have used. There is a cutter bar that has a sticky bottom that you place onto the top of the Dispenser, very easy to do, and you're all set! I've found myself using this Dispenser often. Any plastic wrap we already had, while not already tossed, is not going to be used. I am already thinking of purchasing the foil and wax paper versions of the Dispenser, it is that good! I highly recommend it and the plastic wrap.

This is a lot of clear wrap but the box with the cutter is easy to use and the plastic wrap works well, too.

I wrap a lot of food in plastic wrap to keep in the freshness...I can freeze my home made breads, rolls, ect.wrapped in this product...veggies and meats are also frozen wrapped in this wrap...always my food is tasteful when defrosted... I don't have to buy as many rolls of wrap with this Chic Big Wrap...great savings...

The hardest part is to keep the wrap from twisting and sticking to itself before I can get it to the vessel I want to cover.

I used to dread pulling out that roll of plastic wrap. Now, it’s a pleasure. It does hold those giant size rolls you buy at BJ’s or Costco. A giant roll was included. It cuts perfectly every time. NO more waste.bMy only complaint would be, the little black knob that slides across the box to cut the wrap, could break off. If it does, the box would be worthless. I made an elastic band that I place over the knob to secure it better. So far, so good. Handle with care.

great invention. Don't drop it as the cutter may break off, and a new cutter is $10 for 2.

It's perfect. Costco wrap fits perfectly. It comes with its own too very durable and attractive. Very happy with this purchase.

So I love the ChicWrap dispenser (have had the 250’ plastic wrap dispenser for years) — when I saw it was available in a larger format, I jumped at it once it was back in stock. Like my smaller dispenser, this one doesn’t disappoint. Works very well. My quibble is that it’s not 1000 feet of plastic wrap but 750 feet assuming the label on the dispenser is correct (see photo). Regardless, am very pleased with my purchase — perhaps Amazon will correct the listing.

from the photo I thought the box is made of plastic, but when I received it, it is not, the box is made from paper....thus it is too expansive

Me ha encantado, es lo que buscaba hace tiempo. Después de estar toda la vida peleándome con el film transparente a la hora de cortarlo , estoy feliz de tener este portarrollos. El tamaño, más grande que los rollos normales, es el que yo quería. El film transparente que trae se pega muy bien a los alimentos. Y lo mejor, la pieza que corta perfectamente el film. En definitiva, yo estoy muy contenta con la compra.

There is NO sliding cutter attached. You have to have scissors or a sharp knife handy to CUT the plastic. Clearly, I was given a product that was missing a critical piece.Very dissatisfied and cannot recommend this product that I received.
