My kid seems to like the lights controller works fine

Had to purchase, as a separate RGB light strip did not come with a remote/USB attachment (besides the point).For the $, it was well worth it. The remote does need to be aimed directly at the receiver, and needs to be within ~10ft., but responds quickly, and accurately. Also, the 3M adhesive did start to peel minutely, but that could just as well be the pourous nature of the wood I stuck it to.All in all, would buy again.

All of the color buttons are showing the wrong colors. When I first checked the lights, I thought that I was pressing the wrong buttons, because I was focused on the lights and not the remote. I've used a remote like this on another project, so I'm familiar with where the buttons are, so I used this based on memory. But, after I have embedded it in the project, I had waiting for this remote, and I've had the chance to sit back, activate and watch, the remote is off. The entire line of blue is showing green; the line of green is showing blue; and, the red line is just ridiculous in its shade of colors. There's only one shade of red, the first button, everything else is either yellow or pink. The other two lines of color have the same issue with the shades. As for the fade button, it only turns light blue and stays that way. But, I blame myself for not checking your product properly before I installed it in my project. This project is to be a birthday gift at the end of the month, in a couple days...it's sealed in and can't be removed without destroying the piece. Your product testing and quality control department needs to be addressed, seriously. I'm very disappointed, because the person it's for demanded that I create something in my craft room for them this year...so I did! It's finished, beautiful and working, except for when using the remote.

Don’t be miss advertised, this product is only the USB connector and a remote control!! There are no LED lights. I brought this item in replace of the last connector that I broke.

It’s all I needed to get the lights on my desk to work

There’s a bit of learning to understanding how to connect LEDs but once I figured it out, it was smooth sailing. When attempting to use the second one, it would not work. Just a flash of one color then nothing.

Did what it said it would.

I already had a spool of LED strip lights, that the power-plug connector had gotten crushed, and was unusable. This was the part I needed to get them working again!
