The XP-G2 LED is rated for a maximum output of 586 lumens. However, in actual use, the output ranges from 165 to 200 real lumens depending on the battery type (NiMH, or alkaline), battery strength, operating temperature, and other factors.

Above answers are correct, that said, I would agree this is at least 200 lumens on the high setting-it is only a little less bright than my 300 lumen olight i5T EOS, impressive and unbeatable value-this is my third time ordering them!!

Does the red beam have a separate switch or do you have to cycle through white modes?

There is no separate switch for the red light mode. To activate the red light mode, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until the red light appears.

what's the water resistance rating?

I went kayaking with this. I also went in the water wearing this. So I’d say pretty good!
