Does not work as designed as the USB c port is non functional and Amazon was no help said to go to manufacture so I emailed them with no response yet! I needed this now so having to use on slow USB a side. This was my second flash drive from this manufacturer and now don’t trust the other as was just a back up to my primary flash drive for DJ’ing so will purchase reliable sandisk for flash drives as have owned about 10 and never any issues as well as 10 or so crucial drives that also just work and keep working. Update as of 8/31/25 I did get replacement which has been working perfectly especially with my iPad Pro as is super fast and don’t need a doggle like current 14 pro which will be fixed when upgrade next as will be USB C 3.2 was added with 15 pro but still works great with my old apple camera adapter which was USB 3 but only for my old iPad Pro that was still lightning. Do you have affiliate programs? As I am a professional DJ and a professional photographer so had also looked at making a device like this in 2019 so had gone to manufacturers at conferences in HK and Taipei but had nothing similar to what I was looking for which is exactly what us professional artists need especially when traveling and limited cell or WiFi to back up our large files. I was getting a new Galaxy S26 Ultra and the costs were $900 for 256GB, $1200 for 512GB and $1500 for the 1TB. I found this back in February and it was less than $200 for twice the max memory. Needless to say, I got the $900 version and haven't regretted it since. The phones easily differentiate between internal and external storage and this specific stick transfers data extremely fast. Less than 5 minutes to clear my full memory from the phone to the stick. I keep it on my Keychain and never think twice about capturing a moment. Costs have gone up since my purchase but it's still worth it, instead of the phone with the bigger memory.

I "upgraded" from a previous flash drive that was horribly slow and took considerable time to transfer large files. This flash drive, in comparison, is lightning fast. If you need to move large files quickly, this flash drive definitely fits the bill. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the flash drive does get warm/hot when moving a lot of large files. I suspect that may be by design, of sorts, as the metal enclosure obviously transmits and dissipates heat. I guess we will see over time if "running hot" is a detriment that impacts the integrity of stored data or the life of the unit. (No problems thus far, though.) One other minor inconvenience is that the endcaps are not removable. The pivot up to a 90° angle and remain on the flash drive. While this means you will never lose the endcaps, it can also be a detriment depending on the physical design of the computer you are using. (For instance, when using on my laptop, I can no longer close the lid with the flash drive attached. When using on my desktop, the endcap occludes the adjacent USB port. If the adjacent ports are already used, I have to rearrange them to accommodate.) Ultimately, if I could rate in 1/2 stars, I would probably give this unit 4.5 stars given these two minor issues. As it is, though, I bought this to transfer large files quickly and the drive does just that. As a result, I'm rounding up to 5 stars (as opposed to rounding down) because the drive does exactly what I need it to do.

The first one I ordered was broken on arrival, it errored out immediately in every PC, laptop, phone or tablet that I tried connecting it to. I never had any issues with a flash drive before though, so I absentmindedly threw out all the packaging before I ever tested it. After I realized that the device was broken, I assumed that they would not accept a return based on the fact that the packaging was gone, so I just threw the device away and wrote a review of the product. The company immediately reached out to me and gave me a full refund for the device, apologizing for the trouble, and then took it one step further and sent me out a new one to replace the one that was broken, for free. The new device that came works perfectly, I have had a few days to test it out fully and I have had no issues with it at all! That first one must have just been a rare occurance. They were so kind throughout the whole process though, I had to change my review. The new device works wonderfully, it is blazing fast and has tons of space. I hope it lasts for many years, time will tell. But so far it is working great, and I can tell you that this company truly cares and stands behind their product. Thank you!

Poor quality, and no customer support. When I first received my flash drive, it worked great, and it was fast just like the promised speeds. I was surprised it came with a keychain holder too, so I absolutely used it and kept this flash drive with me everywhere. Fast-forward about 6 months and it stopped working completely. At first maybe I thought the partition crashed, so I attempt to reformat it, but it turns out that my computer isn’t even detecting the drive (confirmed on macOS in System Settings > General > System Report > Thunderbolt/USB4), and no other device of mine seems to see it, either. This thing is dead as a doornail. I attempted to reach out to Movespeed’s support email ([email protected]) and have received absolutely no response after several days — not even a simple acknowledgement. Their Amazon listing says to use this email to contact them. I wanted to know what their warranty claim process was or even how long the warranty was, but apparently you get no warranty, no reassurance, and no support at all! Do not buy this worthless piece of garbage. I have cheap 2GB flash drives from 15 years ago that work flawlessly still that were given to me for free from events, not sure how this “premium” flash drive couldn’t even last half a year, and to get ghosted by this company on top of it. Ridiculous.

First off, this thing is fast. Blazing fast. I did not expect the speeds to hold up when writing large files because of the price point. Usually they start off fast, but then the speeds drains off quick. However after multiple tests with CrystalDiskMark8_0_4c I can confirm I was consistently reaching read speeds of 963MB/s and write speeds of 891MB/s. This is by far the fastest thumb drive I've ever owned. It matches the speeds of my other expensive, high capacity external SSD drive. However there a couple small issues: First, both sides (usb-a and usb-c) have hinged caps that you can't remove. I actually prefer attached caps because there's less parts to lose. However, these caps swing upwards 90 degrees, essentially making your thumb drive much fatter than it normally would be. This can cause issues if you're trying to fit it in tight spaces as it could cause it to not fit or bang into other peripherals. It would be nice if you could choose to remove them if you needed to. Second, the cap on the usb-c side locks into place nicely and doesn't open unless you apply some pressure. However the cap on the usb-a side is very lose and will swing open with gravity. This means it will probably open up in my bag when being jostled around, thus defeating the purpose of a cap. I don't know if they're all like this or I just got a defective one. It's beginning to annoy me enough that I'm considering sending it back for a replacement. If the manufacturer is reading this, let me know if you'll send a replacement, thanks. In conclusion, the read/write speeds are what we're here for, and they do not disappoint. However the build quality and QA leave a bit to be desired. Hopefully I just got a faulty one and they aren't all like this. Still giving it 4 stars.

I am impressed with build and speed, i think it is a good deal and bought severial now, and will buy again.

This is a very fine piece of equipment, with a very nice design. It's very fast.

El pen drive es muy, pero muy rápido. Ahora mismo acabo de copiar una carpeta de 21 GB en mi MacBook y ha tardado, cronometrados, 22 segundos. En un iMac de 2019, ha tardado 3 minutos, porque los puertos USB-C del ordenador son más lentos. No le pongo 5 estrellas porque tiene un fallo de diseño imperdonable. Tiene dos tapas que protegen los puertos, pero que, al abrirlas, bloquean los puertos próximos. Es decir, si tienes alguna otra cosa conectada… o le quitas la tapa (que es lo que estoy haciendo), o no podrás conectarlo al lado, porque la tapa molesta.
