I have played the original game, and when I saw this item on sale, I decided to buy it for the next board game night. Much much more inappropriate to the original. Great time with friends.

Hilariously fun game! Can be a little challenging when there are several words that everyone has to google but boy did we learn a lot 😂

I had the original version of this and the adult one is just as fun.

I love this game! I also have the original, but they are both soooo much fun and perfect for small gatherings or large groups where you can team up. Definitely a favorite in my family!

My wife's extended family are game freaks. Usually I'm pretty meh about the whole thing but over Thanksgiving they introduced me to Codenames which was a really well thought out game.What makes Codenames standout from a lot of other card style games is the longevity of it. You will literally never replicate the same game. This is also not a chance based game like Cards. It really is strategy and interpretation based and really requires critical thinking which I enjoy.We've played Exploding Kittens and enjoyed it, but after a few games it can get stale. Codenames on the other hand can extend play for much longer I've found.Add to the fact that I'm not a particularly serious (or mature) human being, the adult version makes it even more entertaining. The normal version is great as well, but this is a fantastic break from non-PC games like Cards Against Humanity which is probably the king of gutter humor.

Stop reading this review and just order the game cause you’re wasting time not playing it

My husband and I first played this game (the original not adult version) this summer with a group of friends. We liked it so much that we purchased this version. This past weekend we played with another couple, and it was a blast! It's a little tricky to figure out at first, but once you start going everyone picks up on it quickly. It's not crazy adult (not even close to Cards Against Humanity), but there are some cards for an older audience. I like that a round doesn't take forever (maybe 10-15 min), and you can play as few or as many as you want. It's a fun game for 2 couples or a group.

There is nothing wrong with the game. I have played Code Names for several years and love it. I thought this one would just have different clues. I didn’t realize this was an “R” version. We play with friends and family so sexual innuendos wasn’t a good fit for usI’m sure it’s as good as the original, if not better. Just need to know your audience. I obviously didn’t.

It is a game for exactly 4 persons. You won't enjoy it if there are more or less number of people and once you have played it , you will lose the fun at it because same card will be repeated. Therefore, it's not worth the money.

Very adult oriented but definitely fun with the right people.
