Early impressions, the best wrap controller on the market (for now.)
Razer products are a mixed bag for me. Some of them are absolutely fantastic, like while I haven'tgone with any of their mice in a long while, I did get the DA Chroma wayyyyy back when it was the current thing, and later the DA Elite V1, both mice are STILL in use, because they've both stood the test of time, comfort, features, and durability. Yet, I've had mixed-bad experiences with Razer audio, I do not like their keyboards at all, I don't usually care for their controllers, I bought one of their webcams and it was terrible, the laptops are absolutely prohibitively expensive for what they are so I couldn't even hope to try to get one of those to figure out how I feel about them, other than the now older DAs Razer products have been not my favorite, though admittedly they are a sight better than anything I've had out of Logitech. But, this Kishi V3 now, they hit. They hit hard, in a niche market, and most strangely, cheap. Really, if you look at the market for wrap controllers, everything the Kishi V3 hits on, INDIVIDIALLY narrows it down into being one of few options, if it's not actually just plain on its own.Wired? older Kishis, Backbones, That new Abxylute brand, and the 8bitdo collab.Microswitch buttons? Maybe older Kishis, I haven't checked, practically alone.TMR sticks? Definitely alone. The entire reason why I risked buying it over the 8bitdo ultimate collab controller was TMR. I was sitting on this buy for months because either I hadn't discovered the Kishi V3 yet, or it hadn't released yet, and after experiencing Hall versus TMR across several controllers, I can't go back without a lot of other standouts to make up for not being TMR.Phone case compatibility? I've not used all of the wired wrap controllers on the market, but out of the ones I've used, this is the only one that both stretches and truly fits my phone in the case. Though, to be brutal for a moment, I did still have to take out the rubber spacers entirely, I restored grip on the right side using electrical tape as a much thinner spacer so my phone doesn't slide up and down, stressing the connection. Bluetooth options don't have this problem as long as they stretch enough to get around the case'd phone, but that comes with its tradeoffs.Charging while playing? Just the fact that these wrap controllers cover the USB-C plug on all but the strangest phones, limits this feature to the wired options. I'm sure all the wired options do support this, so it's the same list as that.Razer hit good with this one, I'm very happy. At ten bucks cheaper than the 8bitdo I was looking at, and wayyy cheaper than the Backbone options that don't even have hall sticks, for once it's actually something from Razer that I can't call overpriced, because almost all of the other options that check at least some of the boxes I'm looking for cost more.

Great Mobile Gaming Controller
The Razer Kishi V3 is an excellent controller for mobile gaming. It feels solid in the hands, the buttons and joysticks are responsive, and the overall build quality is impressive.I really like how easy it is to connect and start playing. The controls feel much better than using touchscreen controls, especially for games that require precise movement and quick reactions. The ergonomic design also makes longer gaming sessions more comfortable.Overall, Iโm very happy with the Razer Kishi V3. Itโs a great option for anyone looking to turn their phone into a more traditional gaming setup.

Good controller.
It works great on iphone 17pro. Bulky or two piece cases will not fit. The Dbrand ghost case is perfect size, with about 1-2mm headroom left for thickness. Buttons are responsive and sensitive. My only complaint is that the special buttons on the side are not reprogramable. But its not a deal breaker because they are not easy to hit unintentionally.

Great for mobile FPS games.
Works well with my Galaxy S22 Ultra. Feels almost like an Xbox controller and is very comfortable to use. Its not a bluetooth device so there's no noticeable input lag. The programmable buttons on the back work flawlessly. Would have been 5 stars if the pass-through charging port supported fast charging.

Tight fit and awkward contrOld
It barely fit my iPad mini, and getting it in was a struggle. Once attached, the stacked buttons and sticks made gaming feel awkward. It may work for some devices, but I would check the fit carefully before buying. Feels cheap plays great.

Perfect for my Galaxy S23 Ultra with UAG phone case
Long story short, this controller works perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra WITH the UAG phone case on!I previously had the V2 and I would have to remove my phone from the case every time I wanted to use it. And it was such a pain to take the case on/off every time so when I heard that the V3 was compatible with most slim cases, I took a chance and I'm glad I ordered itAlso, the V2 mappable buttons are right next to the L1/L2 and R1/R2 buttons that every time I want to click on the mappable buttons, you know what happens. With the V3, since the mappable buttons are on the back of the controller, not only do I never accidently hit any other button but the fact that it leaves me to use my index fingers for the shoulders buttons while using my middle or ring finger for the back buttons allows me to use both buttons at the same time. Perfect.Yeah the V3 is bigger than the V2 but I carry the V2 with me while traveling and use the V3 at home where I do most of my playing anyways. I use the controller to play my PS5 through Remote Play and this controller works perfect for me.The V3 is more comfortable to hold than the V2 because it is shaped more ergonomically. The USB-C charging port works fine to charge my phone while playing but it's not super fast charging compatible. I can also use the V3 with my tablet by connecting it with a USB-C cable from the controller to the tablet's USB-C port.

100$ down the drain.
In Less than a month the Dpad stopped working. Left bumper randomly works.it worked fine for a few weeks. For some reason while using a cord and a dock on my phone the controller works fine. But when attached to my phone half the buttons stop working. I do not recommend. The nexus support is also not very good. It reads the controller as working fine every time even though it is not. Thumbs down for a controller on the go.

Had high hopes for the Razer Kishi V3โฆbut was let down
I had high hopes for the Razer Kisha V3โฆbut was let down. Seems that Razer is banking on their name, but is no longer releasing a quality device to match its price at $97.Build quality is poor, feels of cheap plastic. Poor documentation, had to call tech support in order to find out how to remap the buttons. I figured out the remapping steps with a harder-to-find independent tutorial online while on hold with tech support. I explained the steps to the poor rep on the phone who they didnโt train prior to the productโs releaseโฆchoose iPhone or Android settings, choose controller and remap from the phone settings there. The pass through charging barely worked 25% of the time despite numerous cables and chargers tried (Kisha V3 and phone were the only common components). Had to press the ends of the controller toward the middle, then it sometimes started charging. (Using iPhone 16 Pro Max).Software (Razer Nexus) is also unreliable for the Kishi V3 and is underdeveloped. No way to upgrade firmware on Kisha V3 from version 1.0 for example. No instructions on remapping controller buttons in the software through the phone as mentioned. (As their competitor does)The trigger on the Kishi is curved to cradle your trigger finger, but a weird thing for me, is that my finger gravitated to the ridge on the tip of the trigger which started to dig in and numb my finger. Not a good sign. I had to stop using it during prolonged gaming.Positive: Full size thumb sticks. Better tactical feeling and grip size fits your hand well. (Build qualify still felt poor every time I touched it though)Still, returning it.Purchased their competitor, Backbone One generation 2. Backbone has better build quality plastic that feels better in your hand (but it is a smaller size than Kishi V3). Better response rate for Backbone controller, much better softwareโฆmore refined and tells you where to remap its buttons for example. Backboneโs thumb sticks are smaller and more gummy feeling, yet with itโs better controller responseโฆIโll take it! Pass through charging works EVERY time, no hassle. The Backbone also saved me $27 and is a more refined product (better development quality). Be aware though, that the Backbone is great for mobile phone gaming but note the Backbone has a subscription service for functions that should be included like streaming or PC functions.Overall, I cannot recommend the Kishi V3 until they engineer a quality product including build quality, software, documentation and support. Stop trying to maximize your profit margin and deliver quality which will increase your customer base and save you returns.

Received a pre-owned or display model
I purchased this product and expected to receive a newly packaged model, instead I received a pre-owned and damaged version, that came in a pre-opened box. This is absolutely unacceptable behaviour. The purchase page clearly denotes that the product is new and not pre-owned.
