Great web cam for a great price. Set up was as easy as plugging it in. Worked right out of the box as it should. I like the small compact tripod it comes with. Video is clear and accurate with great resolution. Microphone works perfectly. I like that it has a privacy shutter. it has a green light to show that video is on. Red light means the unit is on. Nice long cord so that it can sit on my monitor if I don't want to use the tripod.

In the last year or so I've bought three different webcams at about this price range, all different brands. Of those three, this one has the best microphone sound quality. The picture quality is okay: quite useable for Zoom meetings, and significantly better than my new laptop's built in webcam, particularly at low light levels. However, I don't like the picture quite as well as on the other webcams I've bought. Sharp lines, such as the rim of my glasses, are noticeably jagged on the image, particularly with motion. While not a big problem, I find this a bit annoying. The webcam does come with an attached flip-up lens cap and a small screw-on tripod, both of which work well and are useful accessories.

The webcam works as expected. I was able to mount and connect it easily. The brightness and zoom work well. The one thing that bothers me with this camera is that it has two lights on it. One, a red light, for “power” stays on constantly. The second, a green light, for “on” is on when the webcam is being used. All other cameras I’ve used in the past have had lights that only came on when they were in use. So, having a light that always stays on makes me a little uneasy, even with the lense cover. So I’ve been unplugged it when not in use.
