An underrated phone with great potential!
I must say that I really love this phone, & I didn't have to pay a lot of money for it; I was on Amazon shopping for a handset & ran across this, because I'm tired of the high cost of Sprint. Anyway, the phone is beautiful, with the option to expand your external storage to 128 GB (you won't get that with the $649 ones), a large screen so that you can watch videos and movies on....oh & did I mention that the color display is magnificent (better than iPhone and Galaxy S6), and the camera is awesome as far as focus, sharpness and editing features; the integrated sound system is a plus if you're wanting to listen to audio without earphones. So far that's the basic stuff I like about the phone; my only pet peeve about this Android version for the Aquos Crystal is the sound options for incoming emails...I CAN'T SELECT VIBRATE BECAUSE It'll TURN MY RINGER ON VIBRATE AS WELL! SO ANNOYING! I'll just have to reset how often I want to be notified of new emails. I read other comments about the screen where you'll press to activate and applications & it won't work....my advice is to gently tap it & you'll have no problems because the screen is very sensitive. The processor is fast, just as long as you don't download a bunch of stuff.Overall I got a really great phone for an affordable price, because most importantly, I can make and receive calls...what a cell phone is for in the first place.

everyone things you have the latest cool thing--and the design on this one is very forward ...
This is a sharp (adjective) looking phone! the bezel is so narrow, the screen goes all the way to the edge. I often get compliments on how it looks and it's a rare phone so everyone is curious what it is and how new it is. That's the benefit to not getting an iPhone or the standard samsung, everyone things you have the latest cool thing--and the design on this one is very forward looking so I've had it 3 years and it still gets compliments.Bonus, the prepaid version is $89 so when the phone gets dropped (and it WILL get dropped), I don't worry too much about the replacement because it's $89 (my sprint phone's insurance had a $50 deductible AND I was still paying an extra $5/month for 2 years to have it).The review part:The camera is very good. When we go to the beach, I consistently have the most vivid sunset pictures of our group. The interface is comfortable and intuititiveI also love the calling over wi-fi. My house has spotty coverage for most carriers, but as long as I'm inside, I connect to my wireless network and make/receive all my calls via wi-fi.As a side note. I used to have the Sprint/Google Voice integration. When I moved to Boost, I paid to have my old number ported as my google number, then I set up google voice on this phone (it came with its own local number), now when I make and receive calls, they all come from the number I've had for 20 years, and I use hangouts to SMS. This phone does a good job at what I needed.. it looks good... and the replacement costs are prefect for my level of clutziness.

ive had worse
I've had it for a couple months. The cameras good. Its fuzzy when you are taking the pic but its clear when you look at it in the gallery. I can now only talk on speaker phone; can't hear at all holding it up to my ear to talk. It freezes a lot; so I'm always turning it on & off. Sometimes the battery is drained in a couple hours after full charge & I haven't used it. It downloads very fast though; music & apps. The phone is decent but I would go with my first choice if I could change.

UPDATED: AWFUL phone!!! --->>>>> old review: Awesome phone. Probably the best Android phone I have ...
UPDATE: After six months, this phone has gone from hero to zero. The battery, which is NOT REPLACEABLE, lasted about five months and then wouldn't stay charged over four hours, even after charging overnight. Then one night, after the battery died, I powered it back up on a charger to be greeted with "No SIM card". I called Sharp warranty service and was told immediately that it had a broken SIM card holder. I spent $6 to get it shipped to Memphis TN for repair. At this point the phone has cost me around $156. Two days later I got an email from Sharp with a couple of pictures of the corners of the plastic case on the phone which had cracked when I happened to drop it on a CARPETED floor once. They said:"Sharp repair notice Physical damage on device(see below).Fee for repair is 110.00 to have device repaired. If you would like device repaired please reply with callback number to have credit card given. If you would like to Decline repair please reply I Decline to have device repaired."I immediately called them and cried foul. I asked for an escalation and got this from the manager:"We have looked into this further and found that we will not be able to repair the device without also repairing the cosmetic damage, so the $110.00 repair estimate stands.I can extend the warranty by 2 months as a courtesy should you decide to pay for the repair at Sharp. Please let us know how you would like to proceed."I emailed this manager back and asked for another escalation. This phone is VERY fragile and obviously cannot be repaired without replacement, which is why Sharp is trying to cover their losses by asking you to buy a new phone, essentially. Stay away from it. It isn't worth the $6 I took to ship it to Sharp. I will be lucky if I even get the broken device back from them. The phone starts out good, but then starts falling apart. I am leaving my initial review below just to see how far my regard has fallen. It is really awful.-------Awesome phone. Probably the best Android phone I have used. I constantly get comments about how clear I sound on phone calls. The Harmon Kardon sound is great. None of the issue with partitions that HTC phones have. The screen is really great, much bigger than iPhone 6, and just a little smaller than iPhone 6+, which is over $500 more expensive than this phone and has all the baggage that goes with Apple phones. If you are on Boost, go with this phone.
