Halal Black Seed Oil

This black seed oil seems to be good quality. I like that it includes natural vitamin E oil, but am not sure about the silicon dioxide...apparently that's just another name for silica, which is a desiccant. The reason it's used in oil-based capsules is that it's an anti-caking agent that allows for even distribution of the oils. That said, there seems to be some question as to its safety, however, just about any package of pills or powders you buy in the US contains a silica packet, so maybe I'm being hard on this product. Black seed oil is touted as having tremendous health benefits, so this one might well be worth taking especially to avoid the flavor of the oil straight. When I opened the bottle I didn't smell any rancid or musty odors, and I always check that ever since I experience a batch of bad oils from another brand years ago. I have taken a few of these capsules and find that they have an after-taste that's kind of herby (I would equate it to rosemary), but not unpleasant. If it lives up to the health claims I've seen, the price of this oil would be well worth it. The capsules are long and skinny and sometimes it feels like they catch in your throat, so drink a lot of water with them.

I love how easy these soft-gel capsules make taking black seed oil. They recommend taking 2 capsules daily. They are easy to swallow and don't have any aftertaste. They did not upset my stomach, but my daughter said that they did upset hers. I didn't really notice any difference in my health taking these pills - neither positive nor negative. The product is well packaged and comes with clear instructions.

I got these black seed oil capsules because while I love the benefits of BSO, it’s not the most pleasant tasting oil. These capsules make it so much easier to take it. Now, you do pay up for that convenience as the price is significantly more than if you just took the oil. BSO is so great for so many things, both externally and internally so it’s great to have around. The capsules taste fine, no strange off-flavors like you sometimes get in supplement capsules. I cut one open to make sure it is real BSO and am pleased to report that it smells and tastes just like the high end bottle I take. It is a slight shade lighter in color than the brand I take. No complaints.

The black seed oil seems to be working well. I have started taking it for all sorts of different things and it seems to have worked good as an anti-histamine. The pills are super easy to swallow. This is a nice away to consume it without having to taste the somewhat gross taste of black seed oil.

I have been taking this for a while now and have had no adverse effects. It is easy to take with no aftertaste. The listing says: OUR QUALITY: All our products are made in USA manufacturers; most of our products have stability studies to support self-life expiration date and to ensure quality. OUR PRODUCT: This product is Halal Certified by ISA and third party ISO Lab tested. But the label says Formulated in the USA, Halal, and nothing about third-party testing. I am looking to buy more products that are actually third-party tested (and show it) to guarantee the quality of the product.

Excellent quality! Easy to swallow, no aftertaste, and I’ve noticed improved digestion and energy after a few weeks. Great immune support.

I use supplements to help close the gap between modern nutrition levels in our food and the levels that were there when I was young. But, in my opinion, the supplement industry has both some of the highest integrity companies, and some of the lowest. So I try and give a detailed enough review to help you know the company and product better, that you can determine for yourself whether or not you want to try this one out. This bottle comes about half full, which is one of my pet peeves with many supplement companies. I would prefer they put in more capsules and/or use a smaller bottle. If used as directed it will last 45 days. The "best by" date on mine is Oct 2026. The capsules have virtually no scent or taste, and they are easy to swallow with water. I like my supplements to say organic, non-GMO, GMP-certified, 3rd-party tested, and made in the USA. This says non-GMO, GMP-certified, and formulated in the USA (which often means manufactured elsewhere), though the product information page says made in USA. I look into the supplement companies I use because I've come across so many questionable ones. Their phone number is on the bottle and website. The greenfieldnutritions site is functional. While the About Us page says they are a nutritional firm located in the Midwest of America, the text almost sounds like it was translated from another language. I would like to see more details on the company, sourcing, manufacturing, and any possible testing results. I seem to take longer than most to see results when starting a new supplement but I have had success with black seed oil in the past. I just wish they didn't choose to use silicon dioxide, which many companies say they need to use, while the manufacturers of the highest quality supplements that I am aware of refuse to.
