GREAT PRODUCT VALUE, EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE !
This has to be more than a simple review because much as I like my Bluedriver meter I unfortunately had an issuewith the continuity range beeping all the time on the first one I ordered. I contacted Bluedriver support and talked to Chris, I explained my issue and he said the meter had a 180 day no questions asked replacement warranty & he would talk to a tech and get back to me - which he promptly did. Soon as it was determined the meter was indeed at fault Chris had a new replacement sent with expedited shipping and I had it in like two days, lightning fast. The replacement checks out perfect and im very pleased. Not only am I pleased I had my issue resolved, but pleased to find there are still some companies who provide such excellent customer service. Dont let my experience stop you from trying one if it fits your needs, the meter has a lot of automotive functionality -- in this day and age of mass import products where even Fluke have chinese meters on the market one has to play the odds on any brand, but whats important is how they treat you when you do have an issue. I can understand and forgive a random defect having worked in factories myself and seeing how fast things are produced, what I cant forgive is being stuck with a defective product with no help after paying in good faith, that did not happen in my case. Bluedriver has proven themselves both in the value and features this meter offers at a reasonable price as well as the customer service they offer after the fact. If you cant afford or just dont need high dollar high end meters this one is packed with more functionality than ive seen anywhere at this price. -- FOLLOW UP TO ABOVE - - Well as it turned out unfortunately, the replacement meter Bluedriver sent was perfect, but I found out that possibly due to some evidence of minor crushing damage to the box during shipment-(?)-the rigid part of negative leads probe handle was broken internally just behind the ribbed finger grip area, and it could be felt to flex internally when any kind of pressure was applied. It still worked electrically but the internal rigid part was obviously broken. Much as I didnt want to bother the guys at Bluedriver again, I contacted Chris once more explaining and asking if they had an extra negative lead laying around as a replacement, he said he thought so - but instead they sent me a brand new pair of leads still sealed in the package. I was very impressed once again with their customer service that is so hard to come by these days. The new leads are perfect, and now my new meter is perfect and I owe it all to Bluedrivers customer service honoring their warranty as promised. This is one company im not afraid to buy from, and with so many things made overseas these days I feel thats worth a lot when ordering online. Bluedriver will honor their warranty and take care of you if theres an issue, and thats well worth the price of admission as they say.THANKS AGAIN BLUEDRIVER-!

Great Product!
This is a great multimeter. The magnet and the automatic backlight are incredibly useful, especially when working under your vehicle or in the dark. The only thing I would like to see is the entire selector dial backlit and not just your current selection. Other than that, the BlueDriver team thought outside the box with this meter. I would highly recommend this product.

Has some really nice features specifically for the auto mechanic, home or professional
The plastic case is not the same quality as Fluke, but otherwise the meter works excellent. For working on a vehicle, this meter has everything any mechanic needs. The display is crisp, the function selector knob feels very high quality, the leads have a nice feel, and the auto backlight and magnetic attachment are all nice touches.

Review of this meter!!!
I used this meter to set my ignition time on my 87 Nissan z24. What you should expect for the money? The meter construction is a kind of cheap material. I recommend to get you a nice set of leads from home Depot. Because the originals from the meter are real cheap and you can't trust them.About the accuracy of the meter; this model is pretty accurate, but isn't fast enough like others meters of course. Be honest with yourself, if you don't know how to operate a meter and you don't know which one to buy. This is a good starting point. Just be patient with the meter is a little bit of slow. About the RPM function: it works fine just make sure you have a good connection, good leads and be patient with the meter.About durability: honestly is a 30 bucks meter, of course l won't expect to last longer. And for the final: if you want something faster, accurate and quality. And you know how to operate all the functions of the meter. Jump to the next level and get you something up to 100 bucks. This is a really good meter for beginners.

Price is right
For this price you get a great learning tool. I just realized yesterday it has an auto light sensor and an LED in the knob!! Dude this had EVERYTHING a multimeter has!! Is it a fluke? No. But jeez I am an auto tech and it takes me well over a year to kill a multimeter battery. If you use a multimeter every day get a fluke. If you want to learn and have fun get this thing. It does the job.

Not the best for RPMs
Don't get this if your primary use is testing RPM. All over the map and you have to try multiple settings and then do the math after to figure what is most accurate on your car. Dwell worked good. Other electrical testing seemed to work fine. Tech support is definitely not 24/7 and product seems to have been discontinued with manufacturer. They do try to help.

Great product
I am an amateur restoring a 1955 Willys military vehicle. The wiring is 24 volt and a little complicated. I am new to multimeters and have viewed several "how to" YouTube videos. This product does everything that its advertising and description says it does. I'm learning as I go along but this multimeter is invaluable to me on this project. Great buy, great price. Very satisfied.

RPM's did not work
I got this last night. I bought this specifically to check dwell and RPMs on a 1970 VW with points ignition. It read dwell ok but would not read RPM correctly. These old VW's idle at about 900 rpm. I had it on the RPM scale for 4 cycle. It read OL at idle. Chatted on line with Blue Driver tech support. said I had to put it on x10 RPM scale and divide by four? So I put it on the x10 scale and it read about 3500-3600 so about 900 rpm when divided by four. Seriously? It can't read 900 rpm directly? Then I rev it up to check timing at 3600, meter reads OL again. Tech says that means it is over limit?? How can a 60 hp VW be over limit on a meter that is supposed to read to 10,000 rpms??? Already sent it back after spending over an hour with their tech support, don't have time for this nonsense.
