My cat with CKD spent the entire day vomiting after taking this supplement. Later in the day, my second cat ate a small amount from her bowl and also began vomiting. We had high hopes for this product and are still hoping for some benefit but our cat hates the taste of it and will not eat the food if we use the recommended dose. We lower it substantially just to get some in him to eat it and hope for the best

We have used this with our dogs and cats for a long time. It helps keeps them healthy and extends their use of kidneys when there are issues. We have had cats with kidneys that do not function ad well due to other conditions and age.

I used this with a combination of Hill’s k/d wet food, a sprinkle of Hill’s k/d dry food, low sodium chicken broth, plus spring water in the cat fountain, and by the next bloodwork appt he has reversed a lot of his stage 2 CKD. We also used Tiki Cat Silver while we waited for his prescription diet to be approved because it’s low in phosphorus! I can’t say how much this product chipped in specifically, but it’s part of a plan of attack that works for us. We want our boy around for a long time.
