We are remodeling our intire downstairs, and I wanted outlet covers that would look great on our new kitchen backsplash and these didn't disappoint! They were easy to install and loo amazing! I have ordered six more to install throughout our kitchen.

I chose this standard size single duplex outlet cover plate set to freshen and upgrade the look of my breakfast nook. The typical, plain off-white plastic covers that came with our home had developed wear, tear and stains over the years that could not be removed. My small breakfast room has two single duplex electrical outlets, and this package conveniently comes in a set of two cover plates.The walls in my breakfast room are painted a solid light gray. I have already fully decorated this area of my home and did not desire any additional fussy prints or loud patterns on the 2 electrical outlet cover plates in this nook. I wanted cover plates that were simple, yet stylish and would seamlessly merge in with the color of the walls. These electrical outlet covers were just the right addition to this room. They are a solid satin nickel color made of hardy zinc alloy metals. The subtle brushed finish serves to lessen the bright shine of the cover plates just enough to allow them to blend into the color pallet of the light gray walls.These electrical outlet cover plates fit just right over my standard size residential outlets without the need for any adjustments. I have both a vertical outlet and a horizontal outlet in my breakfast room. These plates are designed to fit either vertically or horizontally.My breakfast room experiences the most traffic in the home with several people and a dog walking to, from, and through that area multiple times daily. So far, these electrical outlet covers have remained solid, resilient and resistant to stains, scratches, rust, and other damage. As needed, I clean the outlet cover plates with a soft cloth to remove any smudges or dust that occasionally accumulates. There is otherwise little maintenance.

I got the light-switch version of these metal plug-cover plates, and I and my family were pleased to see how they helped add a touch of refinement to our home...so I was happy to stumble upon these! These plates feel to be of quality: they're solid and substantial to the touch. Like the light switch plates, they were easy to install, and they just sort of "class-up" the room we put them in (for now, we have these on our more obvious plugs in the living room). I plan on getting more of them over time for the rest of the house. Recommended!

Attractive with a high quality look and feel. The cover plate is 3/8" taller and 3/8" wider than the standard size (3/16" in each direction) so it will cover any paint burrs left by the previous wall plate. The wall plate material is thick at just over 1/16" and appears to be cast rather than stamped.
