Campbell's Chunky Soup Pub Style Chicken Pot

I’ve become a soup fan again !! My niece turned me on to this soup . When I was younger , chicken pot pie & mashed potatoes were my comfort food . Also I would fix it if I wasn’t feeling well ! This is a great addition to your meal time planning . Also when one is hungry & in a hurry or can’t decide what to eat !! It is creamy with chicken & vegetables . It may not be enough of either item , but I think you could add more . Also I did try it with my “ smashed “ & it was great !! My next pub style is going to be the chicken & dumplings soup . I can’t wait to try it !!

Nice flavor, much like a Marie Callender pot pie or, my favorite, a Mrs. Budd's. Damn, they're soooo good! But, unfortunately, where's the Chunky Soup chicken?! There are loads of simulated soaked crust pieces, like dumplings. The chicken pieces, however, were very small and very few. The carrots were much too soft for my taste. They more or less dissolved in my mouth. The gravy was the very best part. Not too salty. Not too thick or thin. I guess this pot pie shortcut didn't work for me. It's back to Mrs. Budd's for me. I'll just have to be patient as it bakes.
