Beadsmith S-Lon Beadworking Cord Multipack with 12 Spools (Mix 2)

These threads come in great containers with a reclosable lid, keep their shape well (they don't split at the ends), fit easily in a #10 beading needle, come in lots of colors, don't come unspooled easily and have great durability for the warp. I've even started using them for the weft for people who want to wear their jewelry all day, every day. Really the best I've used by a long shot. I've made more than 300 bracelets. More colors than one-G, better cohesion than Nymo, easier to use than Beadalon....!

I have used the Beadsmith thread for bead embroidery and for attaching beads to fabric items such as coasters, bags, hearts, etc., that I make and sell in my Etsy store, CosmicCheetah. I have found that it is sturdy, does not break easily, and is perfect for my work. Glass beads can cause regular sewing thread to break or shred so I always use the Beadsmith. This is my second pack -- I also have the red/gold colored set -- and I especially like that the thread rolls come in a tube for storage. It makes it very easy to keep track of the smalls spools. And even though the spools are small, they last a long time. I have been using the first set I purchased for years and am yet to use one spool up totally. I have also had success in using the Beadsmith cord for bead fringe that I add to bags such as the Mona Lisa bag in the photo. I highly recommend this product.

My wife was using other type of threads for her crafts (with Delica Beads) , but once she received this she claims it makes it way easier to work on them because of the quality of the thread . The colors are very nice too.

Good, strong thread. The 12 spools arrived in their own plastic tube for storage. Actually, the thread is not wound on spools - just wrapped around a little bit of plastic sylinder, but for some reason, either through creative winding or some sort of coating on the thread itself, they do not come undone. You can pull off as much thread as you need for each use, and the rest of it stays magically in place.

I haven’t found another string that I’d pay this much for. I love this strings. My only issue is that you don’t know exactly what colors you’re getting because it ranges. The first time I ordered two tubes and got 5 browns. This time I ordered one tube and got one brown, a pink, a red, and then some creams and whites. I love the colors but the consistency of what comes in each tube would be a little more helpful! Will order again though(

I use C-Lon micro thread .12mm size for tiny beads or beads with tiny hole. This S-Lon thread is comparable in size and quality. The red in mix 1 is more a cranberry red, not the dark red shown in the photo. This size thread is too thin for macrame, unless you make tiny macrame. When I use this thread I always pair it with .5mm or .8mm threads.

I didn't realize that S-Lon made such a "fine" thread. I use the larger #18 for making jewelry, macrame, kumihimo, etc. This thread is slightly finer than the C-Lon I usually order and I think they both compare with nymo, and I like them better. I use extremely small beads for much of my work, and when threading I use microscopic glasses, I have very little trouble. This thread seems to stay together (split less) better than some of the other threads available. For my work, I need to count on a strong thread that won't snap or unravel as I'm using it or when my project is complete and being handled. Also, I found I have less tangling and do not need to use thread conditioner as frequently or at all. Over all an excellent purchase. Oh by the way, I purchased every (color) set that was offered.

This is a still a good deal but the s-lon bead cord was smaller then I thought. I bought it to do micro macrome but I don't think it will work. I think this will work better for stringing and bead weaving. I love the colors and the thread is thin I can easily thread size 11 seed beads. I'm not sure on 15s. Each on is about the size of a bobbin one would use in a sewing machine. But I would buy again.

Buenos, colores muy bonitos y buena calidad, aunque quisiera más colores la subida de precio ha sido 4 veces más de lo que me costo 🤦🏻‍♀️. Pero lo dicho muy bueno.
