Easy to Use and Nice Video
I installed this and have been driving with it for about two months now. I didn't use the hardwire kit that was included, though. I instead ordered the EchoMaster OBD II Power Cable directly from the Thinkware website ($40). The OBD II cable is a much easier installation and only took a few seconds to get everything hooked up. The most time consuming part of installation was getting the cables hidden behind the door jams and A-pillar columns so as not to be hanging out all over the place. But once installed, it's basically set-it-and-forget-it. The OBD II cable automatically controls on/off and parking surveillance mode with no further input required. Also, I'm using a 128GB SD card, instead of the included 16GB card. (So, basically, the only thing I'm actually using from the bundle are the two cameras and the chords. I wasn't able to find the FA200 without the bundle, and the price point was reasonable enough that I didn't worry too much about it.)Connection to the camera wifi through my iPhone is straight forward and I haven't had any issues. I really only needed to connect to do the initial setup, and if I want to view the video feed or download a video. So far, I've only had one "idjut" almost hit me, so I've only downloaded the two (front and rear) videos for that minute, but download was hassle free. It does take a minute or so to download to the phone due to the file size. I'll note that you have to hit the wifi button on the camera if you want to connect, so thankfully your phone won't connect automatically every time you get in the car.Picture quality is relatively good. I did notice that sample video on youtube showed a sight "fish eye" quality, but it doesn't actually seem to do that on the downloaded videos. The downloaded videos look like a regular camera perspective, so I don't know what was up with the youtube videos. Video definition is pretty good. You can make out license plates and street signs, etc.*** UPDATE ***: After paying a bit more attention, there is a slight fish eye, especially around the edges. But it does not really effect the video in the way a normal "fish eye" camera would. My only downside is that the rear camera, though small, is fairly obvious from inside the vehicle. My rear view window has a bump for the high tail light, so I had to put the camera under the bump to be centered. The camera isn't exactly "stealthy," but it isn't overly obnoxious, either. (After I placed it, I realized I could have put the rear camera off to the side of the bump without really affecting the view, which would have placed the camera higher on the window. But, since I'd already installed it, I didn't want to pull off the adhesive and risk not being able to re-use it.) Overall, though, I'm quite happy with the FA200.

An easily installed dash cam that works flawlessly.
We have Thinkware dash cams installed in all our vehicles and have saved a ton of money in insurance claims as a result. All it takes is one accident that isn't your fault to pay for a dash cam -- insurance companies cannot argue with dash cam footage. We have F750s in two vehicles (Now the F800), and FA200s in two vehicles... all with rear cameras.Installation and configuration is a breeze if you do the following:A) Purchase the Thinkware OBDII installation cable from Amazon so you don't have to mess with the fuse box. And there is absolutely no guessing as to which fuses to use.B) Use your computer to configure the dash cam settings once you get it up and running. (More Below)C) DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE 2.5-3 STAR APP. All it does is make you waste gas as you struggle to connect to the Thinkware wifi, sign in, allow notifications.... etc... and then it doesn't work worth a flip. Additionally, it often cannot be used after an accident. (More Below)For B) above.... You might ask how you can use the computer to configure the dash cam when there are absolutely NO instructions how to. It's easy -- just unplug the dash cam to stop annoying 'please insert a memory card' messages, take the memory card out of the dash cam, put it in your computer, go to the 'set up' folder, click on the 'setup' file (has a picture of your dash cam as an icon), and go through the options for settings. My settings? a) I MUTE THE ANNOYING ANNOUNCEMENTS - go to settings, system, and set volume to 0. Again, no where is there documentation on 'mute'b) I turn off all 'safety' notifications. I don't need both my car and my camera to tell me I'm drifting out of my lane or in peril of rear-ending someone. My passengers will do that!c) I turn ON all battery saving featuresFor C) above....So, now you might ask -- how do you watch your videos when you want?Easy -- on your PC... just plug in your memory card and go to the different folders to watch the videos you want (continuous, parking, event/accident, etc...)Ok, now you might ask, how do I get to my videos if I'm in an accident?Thinkware would encourage you to use their app which requires power (engine running) and you to connect to your dash cam. Unfortunately, if you're in an accident, you may not be able to keep your engine running....Amazon to the rescue here too. I searched for about 10 seconds to find a micro sd/sd card reader for my iphone that does not require an app to use. I have one in every glove box.... And find I use them for more than my dash cam.Sorry for the long review....

I won't buy any other brand !!!
What can I say? I love THINKWARE. I have bought quite a few cameras. As a matter of fact, I bought all my dash cameras from THINKWARE, all dual channel. 6 cameras in all. One for my wife car, F750, the first one I bought. Love the features HD quality is amazing, Parking mode works great and does not drain the battery, as well they always tell me when I come to a red light camera. 2 x F800 PRO's 1 for each of my Jeep Cherokee's, again, can not compare the quality works amazing and got the best bang for my dollar.... Then I got 2 x FA200's one for my daughters car and one for her boyfriends car, both with dual channel as well. Last but not least, another FA200 for my brothers girlfriend's Jeep, that I just got last week and going to install it myself next week. They are easy to install and you can get fuse adapters so you are not trying to squeeze in wires or risk blowing a fuse. The video/audio clarity is amazing and clear. App Works perfect with my IOS 10X MAX. Never had a problem with any of these cameras and I recommend them to everyone. Totally happy with the performance and quality of THINKWARE. Thanks for making me feel safer knowing I can rely on always capturing anything that happens, on the road, and while parked. More pictures of proof if needed, this shows I do have many and I am very happy with them. You will be as well.

Decent entry level camera
Good quality camera. Was very easy to install. Only problem so far is parking motion detection only seems to work in short bursts (parked at grocery store) vs overnight parking. Trying time lapse to see if it records all night, will update. The rear camera is pretty crappy at capturing anything in the rain at night. Good during the day though. Front camera is good if you manage to get really close to the vehicle in front of you.As for the app that everyone complains about, ive honestly not had too much of a problem with it..downloads 1 minute, 80mb files in about 30s-1min and capable of real-time streaming. The impact and motion detection is rather sensitive and will detect motion when opening the car door which I guess is fair. The supplied 16gb card works perfectly in the camera, but the Samsung pro endurance 64gb card I bought as a replacement is not recognizable in the camera..not sure whether or not it's the camera or the card that is the problem but I'm pretty bummed about that. All in all, get it while it's on sale for 179$ as a bundle and if hardwiring make sure to buy fuse adapters (piggyback cables).

Must have!
Great camera, easy to install. This is my second camera. First one is still running, it’s in the old vehicle I just sold. I use parking mode which catches people knocking doors into your car. So you can go after them for damages if you wish as it records for a minute before and after the bump. This product is great for your protection of YOU and your property. Great for courts. I witnessed an accident and pulled my SIM card and the police downloaded the video which had evidence on it, the two drivers had opposite opinions of what happened and my video cleared it up quickly.

Fantastic Camera
I love this camera so much so I have installed it in 5 vehicles now.Pros:- it just works. Some of the cheaper cameras I have tried are finicky but this works as advertised.- Really good sound quality. needed to use the footage when someone rear ended me in a parking lot. the audio of the other party stating "That was 100% my fault I am so sorry!" helped tons when they told a different story to the police.- App works great. I love being able to quickly get the videos off my camera gives me some piece of mind that I do not need to wait to get to a computer to make sure the video is safe.- Support. One camera arrived DOE I had purchased it in May as a Christmas present for someone. when I realized it was broken (way out of the Amazon return window) I emailed the company. No questions asked they sent me a replacement in the mail with a prepaid shipping label for the damaged product. My issue was resolved within two days of submitting my support request.Cons:- Resolution. Personally 1080p is fine for me and I think it has enough detail for it purpose, proving who was at fault in an accident. also storing 1080p is way easier then dealing with 4K but some people will see this as a con.- App speed. Transferring your videos from the camera to your phone through the app is slow but not a deal breaker.
