ALTRA Lone Peak 9+ Men's Trail Running Shoes, Chocolate Torte/Silver

Bought for a trip to Bali. Very hot and humid conditions and they were perfect👌 Extremely light, airy and comfortable wide toe box. No sign of any wear and tear after several days trekking through jungle paths and over volcanic rock. Seriously impressed and will look at other Altra shoes/boots

Exceptionally comfortable and lightweight. Surprisingly supportive despite the lightweight construction. The wide toe box means they can be worn for hours with minimal forefoot fatigue. Sole seems to be adequately grippy.

Very comfortable and good fit. Build quality is excellent with good support and grip.

These are the first zero drop shoes I have ever had. I have previously had an Achilles rupture so was a bit wary about how I would get on with them. It’s now 7months since I bought them and they have been great. Very comfortable. I did have Achilles ache when I first started using them but not any longer. I know that Altras have a reputation for not lasting very long and I have noticed that the tongue on right shoe is showing signs of wear hence 4 stars rather than 5. I wear them for easy hikes and general day to day activity so nothing strenuous. I really like them and would buy them again

Fits slightly long so went half size down, very comfortable, bought as a multi use gym shoe but have worn as a daily shoe. Yet to run in them but quality is good.

My Toes are free :) Very comfortable for walking, The grip on the ground feels solid. Laces are a bit too long, but not a problem, these seem built to last

I own the Lone Peak 9 Plus (Vibram outsole) and thought I’d get another Lone Peak to reduce the wear. These ones are seemingly just as comfortable, though the Plus feels ever so slightly wider than these — though it might be down to long term wear and stretch. The black colour is neutral and doesn’t scream trainer.

Als Fan des Altra-Konzepts überzeugt mich auch der Lone Peak 9. Er liefert genau das, was man von Altra erwartet: das natürliche Laufgefühl durch Zero Drop und viel Platz für die Zehen. Vorteile / Was mir besonders gut gefällt: Breite FootShape-Zehenbox: Die Zehen können sich natürlich auffächern. Das sorgt für fantastische Stabilität im Gelände und verhindert Druckstellen, selbst auf längeren Touren. Zero Drop (0 mm Sprengung): Die flache Sohle ohne Höhenunterschied zwischen Ferse und Vorfuß fördert eine aufrechte, natürliche Körperhaltung und einen sauberen Mittelfußantritt. Angenehm leicht: Trotz robuster Traktion und gutem Grip auf Trails fühlt sich der Schuh am Fuß extrem leicht und agil an. Passform & Größeneinschätzung (Lone Peak 9 vs. Lone Peak 8): Manche Käufer sagen, der Lone Peak 9 falle kürzer aus als der Vorgänger (Lone Peak 8) und man müsse eine Nummer größer bestellen. Das kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Der Schuh ist nach meiner Erfahrung nicht kürzer. Der Grund für dieses Gefühl liegt eher am oberen Material: Der Oberstoff ist etwas fester und strukturierter verarbeitet als beim 8er. Dadurch hat die Zehenbox nach oben hin etwas weniger Flexibilität/Volumen, was sich im ersten Moment kompakter anfühlt. Die reine Länge der Sohle ist jedoch identisch. Ich empfehle daher, bei der gewohnten Größe zu bleiben. Fazit: Ein fantastischer, leichter Trailrunning-Schuh für alle, die eine breite Zehenbox und Null Sprengung zu schätzen wissen. Empfehlung!

Unos kilómetros en los tenis y cruces de ríos ha sido suficiente para decir que son muy cómodos. Excelente trabajo de toda la pierna con tenis de este tipo (zero drop). Aguantaron muy bien, entra poco polvo y nada de piedras. Drena muy bien el agua.

Ottime scarpe, Le ho comprate per fare il Cammino Francese di Santiago de Compostela, 800km. La mia preoccupazione, e la paura dí chi percorre queste distanze (circa 25km al giorno) erano le vesciche. In totale abbiamo percorso, su ogni tipo di terreno, più di 1000km e non ho avuto nemmeno un piccolo fastidio. Ora hanno un posto speciale nella mia casa! Consigliate al 100% anche se ogni piede ed ogni postura sono differenti!
