WARNING!!
Compared to the stock (or what was left of them) control arms these were a great buy. Great price, delivery earlier than first estimated, and an exact fit. The problem arose after I had cut off the old ones on one side of the truck and started putting the new ones on. The lower arm, although a chore to get everything lined up, was easy to put on. After I had taken off the upper arm and was in the process of installing the new one I found one of the bushings to be about 16th of an inch too small for the supplied bolts. I checked the other upper arm and it was the same. Instead of taking them off, sending them back, which would have taken a week or so, and forced me to leave my truck on jack-stands, like a giant paperweight. I was forced to drill out the bushings to get the bolts through. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because once I got them bolted on they did what they were supposed to do, make the vehicle safe to drive again. Otherwise I would have given 1 star. Shame on me for not trying all the bolts through the bushings before starting the project. If I did not have the tools and resources I had this would have been a total "cluster." DO NOT ORDER THESE UNLESS YOUR PREPARED TO CORRECT THEM.

read the reviews before you buy
well built but be prepared to drill out the mounts on your truck (97 Expedition). the tops may thread as mine did, but the lowers definitely will need drilled out. these are beefy and snug so no prolonged issues anticipated but definitely not a direct fit and the old bolts will not work as they will leave slop and you will be all over the road... price cannot be beat!!revision: go buy 5/8 grade 8 nuts bolts and washers as well as a good 5/8th's drill bit. the bushings in the lower arms will need drilled and the supplied bolts simply do not work unless you buy some special size drill bit...

Better than Ford parts and 1/3 of the cost
Awesome! Just installed these over the weekend. Way better bushings than OEM and just a better overall design on the parts in general. These things will outlast my 2001 Expedition XLT for sure. I did not have to drill anything out like some of the other people here but the only thing is that the 4 bolts for the lower arms are about 3/8" too short. I had to reuse the old hardware for that. Good quality OEM style bolts are supplied tho (not like what's pictured) All in all I still think it's a great deal for what you get.

If it was speced right it would be 5 stars.
The trailing arms are definitely higher quality than OEM. The lower is fully boxed, upper is like OEM but thicker. Unfortunately the bolts and bushings are bigger than stock, so the brackets had to be drilled out to 5/8" for the new hardware to fit. For the rear upper trailing arm brackets you either have to remove the backing plate for the brakes or drill a hole in it. I chose to just drill a 3/4" hole in it, mines an old rusty beater with 222K, so I thought doing it right would be like polishing a turd. If the bushings and hardware matched the stock size it would be 5 star no questions.

AWSOME
My trailing arms were rusted and had holes in them. One of them was evan snaped in half. So i caled ford and got a price for upper and lower with no hardware it was 144 a peace for upper and 188 a peac for lower's so that 664 with no tax or hardware so your looking at about 700 dollar area. For the priceis it rite from online. My handling improved the ride is a lot nicer. Iam very satisfied with my purchase. They were quick to get them to me, order them on the 17th and got them on the 24th and that with a weeknd in the middle.

On the road again...
I was shocked to find the great price for these parts after seeing how much they cost at three local parts stores. My mechanic also couldn't believe what I paid for such high-quality parts. This should keep my '97 Expedition on the road for a few more years rather than just letting it die. I also replaced the air bags with a coil conversion kit and it sits and drives great now.

I love it.
I ordered the wrong part. It was no problem getting the new one.

the other one was fine.
Parts are much heavier than stock. Did not have any issues installing. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is that the paint on the one arm peeled off holding it in my hand, the other one was fine.
