Perfect match for a HTDX100ED2WW
Needed a new knob for my old hotpoint dryer, old one cracked and couldn't turn the timer anymore to get the machine to run. My machine said I needed a HTDX100ED2WW timer which GE doesn't sell anymore, this one fit it perfectly and it went on no issues. Looks just like the old one. Worked right away. Will it last forever, I'm not sure but at its affordable price I'll just buy another it still lets me enjoy my dryer.

Easy to change the knob
The timer knobs kept breaking on my older dryer. Not knowing what it was and thinking it was the mechanism I called for repair. It was an expensive service call, and the technician suggested I order this one . It has a little metal band around the place where the knob fits on the post, so it should last and not crack like the last two in a couple years. It was super easy to just slide on .

Doesn't fit properly
Doesn't fit properly and I moved my dryer to confirm model number to make sure it would fit my model. It fits on it. But when u turn it. It's too lose. Not going through pain of returning it so I'm gluing it to it n hopefully that works

lasted one year but the whole shaft and knob design is defectively engineered
Mine lasted one year. The problem is this shaft design is defective, it's not all the fault of this product. They should use metal shafts that are robust, plastic just degrades quickly. I'm going to locking pliers.
