Grapefruit Seed Extract 120's

Pure is a fantastic brand for supplements. Grapefruit Seed has been the best I found to help with cholesterol.

I bought this to take leading up to a trip to Mexico as I learned it could help protect from diarrhea causing bacteria that is common to pick up while traveling in countries that you are not accustomed to. We had a great trip with no GI distress :) What I really love about this brand is that they don't use any fillers.

Well, i purchased this product, GSE, the larger bottle i might add, to help with what i thought was a possible parasitic issue in my GI tract. Was feeling i was not absorbing nutrients perhaps. I had had, an incredible experience years ago, with grapefruit seed extract in liquid form. Impossible to forget, i was totally cured from an obvious pretty harsh cold that was coming on. Full phlegm, tiredness etc. I told a colleague of mine, about how i felt, and how it was pretty obvious i was going to be knocked out for a couple days, which is a big deal when working as a team on the road. He went to his truck, came back with a bottle of water and liquid GSE extract. He put drops in the bottle, and told me to drink it ALL. in one shot or as close to one shot as possible. Anyhow, i did and, no word of a lie, within the hour, the symptoms were walking back not forward. Was totally fine for the next day. It was, really an incredible cure. So, cut to now, having had a good experience with GSE, and thinking there are no downsides, i ordered a bottle to give it a try with this issue i thought i was having. Also, thinking it couldn't possible hurt to try it. Well, 8-10 hours after the first pill, light cramping, light - medium gas, general feeling of discomfort down there. Thinking this was perhaps normal, i continued. Then, basically loss of appetite, more gas and light cramping, general malaise, sensive skin, light headache, diarrhea, sometime a bit chilly sometimes a bit warm. Anyhow, four days of that. 2-3 days of diarrhea. I had to stop. I mean. It knocked me out of commission. I couldn't really leave the house. Turns out, stool samples show no evidence of parasites or eggs. Basically made myself ill for 4 days with this. And i bought 90 caplets…. Anyway. This did NOT work for me. Made me ill. Im not sure what to make of it to be honest.
