Love these shoes. This is my second pair. Last about a year / two years with daily use. I walk 5-10 miles at a time and these shoes remain comfortable. There wasnt any break in period for me. They squish down for me in my Rollerboard when I travel and keep their shape when I take em out. -not waterproof or water resistant -not warm (they breath very well) They look great abs the black is nice. I love the wide toe box.

Amazon recommended extra wide for me. I ordered the regular wide to compare., and I think it’s sufficient. (the extra wide, wasn’t bad, but it made me concerned how much I could move my toes/foot left to right) Both shoes were oddly snug on the top of the foot. It did improve sufficiently when I loosened the laces significantly. It does leave the shoelaces kindof short.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This has been so frustrating. The sizes and width between one order and the next are off. I've held onto this particular pair, but have returned multiple other Brooks orders of the same shoe. These shoes vary from right and left foot. The left is roomier and a perfect fit. The right has less room in the toe box, and is narrower in the width. I have taken a Birds Eye view photo where you can see this. Brooks are the most comfortable shoe if your on your feet all day. I have referred lots of family and friends to brooks who have had foot pain from standing, walking all day. My husband my son and my dad all wear them to work as well!
