A very happy customer.
There was a one day hold up with the delivery, however, the seller kept me informed about the delay, and updated me on the new delivery date/time, just the day after. The bed was easy to assemble, the wood was good quality, and solid. When assembled the bed was extremely sturdy and very rigid, excellent quality - so all-in-all, a very pleased and happy customer:-)

Very sturdy nice bed.
Very simple to build, it didn’t take long at all. I have it for over a month now and it doesn’t move at all. It occasionally creeks but that’s natural for wood, particularly when new. This is less as it ‘settles’. Rock solid, should last a lifetime or at least many years. I bought solid wood furniture for my bedroom 20 years ago and although I had to make minor repairs to drawers (which I overloaded) it’s all still looking great. I fully expect that I’ll be able to say the same about this little wooden bed too in 20 years time. That’s what I call value for money!

The ease of construction!
I love this bed, looks great and with the matching bedside table is exactly what I wanted! Great value for money and build quality is so good. Awaiting a new mattress just to top it all off. Thanks.

Nice bed but beware of the return policy
Cons: Beware that the return policy is strict, if you've started assembling it's likely the return will be refused or money deducted. With it being softwood pine it's a little creaky, hoping it'll settle in position. Pros: The bed is all pine wood. Really great quality and value for money. The bedroom is small and the low height and low end rest allows good easy access. Build was very simple. Update: the bed has settled really nicely and no longer creaks.

First Night Review- This Bedframe will Stand and Stand
After one night, I am very pleased with my new bed and recommend the company for going the extra mile, by supplying the extra (probably un-needed) support frame and drilling the holes / packing extra screws to enable it. Plus, all the important dimensions are very accurate and accessible pre-purchase. Would’ve added an extra star to rating – if possible. Things to consider when choosing a decent bed: FLEXIBLE SUPPORT -a.k.a. “give”: My most-comfortable-bed-ever had a mattress that rested on those curved/ bowed “springy” slats from IKEA. Loads of give there… (However, IKEA designers did not build in anything to hold the slats apart from each other- meaning that slats could easily slip out of position under the heavy mattress). Experience tells me that the softness of wooden slats is far preferable to a hard iron bedframe- which can eventually begin to grate into your bones. Conversely a too-soft, air mattresses provides no spinal support. VENTILATION of BODILY MOISTURE: Also- a bedframe that allows for air-flow beneath the mattress, helps to remove by evaporation, the sweat and moisture that will drip through the mattress slowly, using gravity. Have you ever slept on a traditional Eastern wood-platformed bed? The mattress is often soaked in decades of unwashed moisture and reeks (likewise those boxed-storage beds where decades of sweat collect at the top of the box). I was interested in Nodax beds for their extra lengthwise middle support -but I only wanted a Single sized frame (no extra support beam supplied) to fit my existing quality single-sized mattress. My old bedframe was a strong, pine-wood bedframe 2nd-hand. Despite the strong wood, the mattress began to fall through the slats after 6/7 years. (Must’ve been a great dream – I wish I could remember it!) I then noted that “itty-bitty” wooden pieces had been feebly nailed into the long beams to support the slats. So I asked Nodax, pre-purchase, about frame support for a SINGLE SIZED bedframe; they offered to supply an extra middle support -even for my single bed -at no extra cost. Bedframe arrived boxed, on stated date and proved simple enough to assemble it, alone, within 45 minutes (I am a simple DIY enthusiast). No tools required- Allen key in package, although my rubber mallet proved useful for tapping long heavy wooden parts onto dowling joints provided before tightening screws. Nodax frame construction much better than my last bed (one-piece (extra-strength) beams support the slats, not poorly stapled little add-ons as I’d had previously)– that means that I probably did not need that extra middle support beam that Nodax helpfully supplied- they’d even drilled extra holes to enable my fitting it… I wonder if my adding the extra middle beam support to this Nodax, may actually hinder the natural “give” in the wooden slats beneath the mattress? (I can always remove the middle beam and check it later)... A final plus- this Nodax bedframe design is also nicely organic (reminds me of a faery/elven bed – for some reason) and the low-profile actually adds a sense of extra space to the crowded room that I put it in- another improvement on my old frame that had 4 waist-high posts at the corners.

Perfect for my needs.
My son is very happy with his new bed, he opted for the rich Walnut colour. His bedroom has sloping ceilings so the low headboard fitted perfectly under the eaves. The bed is very sturdy and I assembled it by myself, so must be simple. The Company, Nodax, we’re a delight. I ordered the wrong bed firstly, but they were most happy to cancel the order and wait for my amended choice.
