Works great but doesn't fit perfectly
4 and half Stars for me.It's easy to install and does work for me.However the riser doesn't fit perfectly on my toilet. It is half of an inch smaller overall for my toilet, but still provides enough room for me to use the handheld bidet. Another issue causing the half star off is the size of bolts's head. They're so big that they stick out and the screws flaps won't cover them up.

Toilet aid
Seat riser is a great option for seniors my parents like how much easier it is to get on and off the toilet. I had to add gasket strips underneath the riser due to it slipping around but other than that it very good

Pretty Good
Bought this for my aging mother. It works pretty good but wants to slide all over the place. I ended up making a board of the right thickness to wedge between this riser and the toilet tank so help stabilize it, thus the four start rating.

Easy to get up aid.
Works great. Easy to clean, quiet, and comfortable. This is my second purchase. This is for our guest bathroom. We purchased the first one about a month ago for the master bathroom. High quality!

Prepare to spend a lot of cleaning time
It is as if this item was never "field" tested. The item itself appears to be well made. Once you attach it to a toilet bowl, the problems manifest themselves. The nuts/bolts holding the riser to the bowl are steel. Steel nuts in water are never a good idea. The nuts and washers (supplied) are flat thus preventing centering of the bolt in the toilet bowl holes. I found some old plastic conical shaped nuts that did this centering job. Again, the steel bolts are a potential problem where they pass through the holes in the toilet bowl. Because of the height of the riser (length of the bolts), it is somewhat unsteady even when tightened. This slight movement could chip or crack the toilet bowl (I shimmed the holes with pieces of rubber hose to cut down the movement of the bolts and to prevent the steel on porcelain situation). Additionally, all toilet seats that are to be attached to the riser to complete the installation are not made with the same diameter as the supplied attaching bolts nor the same mode of attachment. Be sure to select a toilet seat that has the correct diameter hole to handle the supplied attaching bolt or be prepared to do some drilling and modification of the toilet seat as I did. Also, due to the slot on either side of the lower portion of the riser extending all the way across the bottom or lower part of the riser, there can be waste leakage across and around the rim of the toilet bowl. This could have been prevented for the most part if the slot had been designed as an indentation to assist in lifting the riser for cleaning. This slot also exacerbates the cleaning process as it adds more nooks and crannies. Unfortunately, the riser cannot be moved as far forward as it should be to make a better fit to the front of the toilet bowl. This problem has no solution I can imagine due to the thickness of the material used in construction of the riser. The fact that it only comes in a four-inch class was disheartening. A two-inch riser would provide an option as not all toilets are built to the same height. All-in-all, this riser does beat attaching a rope to the toilet user for aid with extraction.

Can't Use With Quick Release Seat
My husband just had surgery, and I was trying to install this before he came home, but I did not know that this is incompatible with quick release toilet seats. Looking at how both are installed, I understand why, but I don't even know if they make the regular seat anymore. I have three toilets, and the seats are all from different manufacturers, and they are ALL quick release. They should charge a little extra and provide a compatible seat. This is one of those you don't know until you know, and this manufacturer should realize that many of us don't know and warn us.
