A Quality Yarn Threader
I do lots of crochet and with that comes the time to weave in the loose yarn. I had a very cheap basic yarn threader (the thin wire connected to plastic holder) and it worked for a bit but it did not take long before the wire would pull out of the plastic and I would have to try and fix it to use it. I knew I needed something a little more substantial if I did not want to drive myself crazy. Thankfully I found this Clover Yarn Threader. It is like the tank of yarn threaders. I has a nice metal holder with a swivel out metal yarn threader. The fold out metal part is plenty thin to fit into a yarn needle eyelet and as it is more substantial it has no problem pulling the yarn hard through the needle. I have used this with multiple projects and it just works great. The metal housing is solid and provides a nice place to grip as well. The only issue (if you want to call it that) is that the fold out part is rather stiff and can be difficult to pull out. Also when folding it back in, care is needed as it is easy to bend the metal as it is thin. If that got bent it would not be as strong and could be an issue. As long as you are aware of this though it is fine and works well.If you crochet you should get one of these for sure.

Perfect
Exactly what I needed and feels nice and sturdy. It's a bonus that it is also a pretty design and so enjoyable to look at.

Favorite Needle Threader
My favorite needle threader now. I love it! Makes it so easy to thread for embroidery and love how I can flick it in.

Cute and functional
I love this little threader. It works great with weight 4 yarn. I like that it closes up to protect the end from getting bent. It’s small size makes it easy to carry in the zippered bag I use for my crochet tools.

Awesome addition to my embroidery tools.
This is perfect for embroidery thread, to big for sewing needles. It appears to be sturdy enough to pack in my travel embroidery bag. Large enough it won't get lost in the bag or hung up on other thread. And, it's pretty to boot.

Step back in time with this beautiful tool.
The media could not be loaded. Anyone who's done any stitching has eventually tried a threader. Some are fine, some are junk. Some are meant for thread, some are meant for yarn. Most are just meant to get the job done without any thought to aesthetics. This Clover threader is meant to thread yarn, but to also do it beautifully. Its antique look lends a romantic feel to your stitching time. But it's not just a pretty face. The solid materials and well crafted design work wonderfully together. I tried it on two different size metal needles and two different size yarns: a CAC size 6 bulky chenille, and a size 4 worsted wrapped with a colorful thread. The threader easily handled the bulky yarn and it made life a lot easier threading the splitty wrapped worsted. See my video. The only suggestion I would make to Clover is to add a loop so that it can be worn around the neck like their yarn cutter can.If you like good tools that also bring you a smile, spend a couple of extra bucks on this threader. It will last you a lifetime unlike the junky ones. Happy stitching!

A threader that’s worth every penny!
This little threader is just the ticket. It’s sturdy, strong and very usable! I’m very happy with my choice. I do a lot of embroidery and this is just the ticket! It’s a little more expensive but well worth it.
