Its a very good product. Its meant for every professional photographers who have very busy schedule and no time for first testing and then take a final shot. It will also help for amateur and beginner photographers but its better not to spend such a big amount on this device instead i will recommend to first learn the basics of photography like the exposure triangle, rule of thirs, etc. and then if your pocket allows then go for this amazing product to learn more professionally with multiple flash lights and studio setups.

Questo esposimetro è un vero e proprio strumento professionale, facile da usare ma incredibilmente potente. Pro: Precisione assoluta: Fornisce letture accurate sia in modalità incidente che riflessa. Perfetto per chi scatta in pellicola o vuole una gestione dell’esposizione impeccabile anche nel digitale. Versatilità: Le tre modalità (foto, cine e HD cine) lo rendono ideale non solo per la fotografia, ma anche per il video. Grazie alla possibilità di misurare frame rate e angoli di otturatore, è un alleato indispensabile per i videomaker. Compatto e leggero: Sta comodamente in tasca o nella borsa della fotocamera, senza aggiungere peso inutile. Ideale per chi è sempre in movimento. I'm absolutely glad I bought this tool. Yes, it really is a tool... it makes setting up multiple lights a lot easier than without a light meter. Sure, trial-and-error works too, but it really takes a lot longer to make it perfect than with metering the light. I also bought the Lumidisc add-on, but haven't really used it so far, so maybe that is an unnecessary purchase. What I also ordered, via Amazon.com - as it is not available on Amazon.nl - is a silicone skin to protect the light meter. Ok, the customs fees and import taxes make it quite expensive, but it helps to protect the cheap plastic enclosure of the Sekonic Flashmate L-308X. I can totally recommend this tool to anyone who takes using studio strobes or speedlites seriously.
