Spigen Rugged Armor Back Cover Case Compatible with OnePlus 5 (TPU | Matte Black)

This is my second purchase of the same cover after 3.5 years. The backcover is pretty good (does not feel bulky at all) and handled near about 2 dozens phone drops (nearly in all angle drops) like a tank armour (nothing at all happened to phone till date and it looks like a new one). It has a raised edges so no need to worry about the flat screen drops on the surface (don't even use the after market screen guards which generally limits the phones natural heat dissipation and heats your phone).The only drawback I see is, the cover is having some design printed from inner side which gets imprinted on the phones back after long usage. Some people may like it and may not. It's individual perspective.But from the sturdiness and durability point of view, I think this is the best product I came accross.If you are looking for quality backcover which should really protect your phone then just go for it without any second thought.

Really good case overall for the OnePlus 5. Lasted around 2.5 yrs before it started disintegrating. It also leaves marks on the back of your phone. Really good protection though; I have dropped my phone several times and it's been unscratched. Sad that they have doubled the price now and doesn't feel worth repurchasing at the current price for such an old phone

It is very durable, even hard to remove phone out of it frequently, I would say. But the design of the volume keys is thin which I feel would be the first to give way to wear and tear. Also, does not have a hole for the OnePlus logo like other models, which I personally preferred for better grip on the backside

Purchased it for ₹799/- (amazon sale) Received the cover. The fit is PERFECT. Buttons are easily accessible. The screen, camera and sides are well covered and therefore should provide amble protection. Comes from Spigen, so I don't have any doubts about the protection. No complaints about the look.One con: the finish is smooth and therefore highly slippery. You need to grip the phone tight when you type or there is every possibility that the cover would slip out. But it does not slip off slanting surfaces.As long as you are not very lax about how you hold your phone, you have no issues.Also, I am someone who is not reckless as to how I use my phone. I hardly drop my phones say 4 times a year. This armour provide fairly good protection. But in case you are a rough user, I would suggest you wait for the ultra hybrid armour from spigen which is expected soon (as per the Spigen India website).

I purchased the same cover two times in 4 years. The cover is so sturdy that inspite of numerous drops from different heights, my mobile is still in one-piece, no damage.Love love love the cover & it's worth every paisa I have spent on it.

Excellent back cover by but price too expensive.

My friend who is into this tech a lot more than me ironically... Suggested the same what I had in my cart, the spigen case.Let's cut to the chase.. this case is just the best ever I have used for any phone till date.period.To quote an incident, my OnePlus 5, it went thru a nasty water accident ,you know it, we have all be been there, the one with the flush option. Yeah!For a phone to survive such a disastrous episode ,I have to give it, Spigen, you are my hero! My OnePlus has easily survived every bump drop, having a one year old kid, you can imagine the umpteen drops it had to go through. It isn't just a case, it's a full on INSURANCE. You gotto pay the extra for the returns. Since you have a phone in your hands, congratulations, that's worth wayyy more than this case. Just buy it!P.S. Post the water incident, the phone was switched off with immediate effect and not in use with silica gel cover around all open ports like headphone port etc etc , for two consecutive days as a precautionary measure.

Quality not so good

Anche se non credo che interessi più a nessuno, visto che si tratta di oneplus 5, la cover, dopo un anno di utilizzo è praticamente come nuova e ha sicuramente salvato il mio telefono in qualche occasione. Penso che se mi servisse un'altra cover in futuro mi fornirei da questo produttore

Elle n’ajoute pas un encombrement aussi prononcé que les Otterbox. C’est d’ailleurs plutôt agréable.Etant une coque souple, pas de soucis à l’installation. C’est facile.QUALITÉComme d’habitude chez Spigen on n’est pas déçu. Le dos est fait de soft touch principalement, et deux parties carbones (faux) en haut et en bas viennent lui donner un look unique.Parfaitement ajustée, pas de trace de moule ou autre. Rien à reprocher à cette coque d’un point de vue qualité d’ensemble.PROTECTIONSans être la plus épaisse que j’ai eu, la Rugged Armor fait partie des plus performantes en terme de protection.Certes elle laisse logiquement la face avant ouverte, mais elle protège un point très sensible sur nos smartphones : les coins. En effet, les coins d’un smartphone sont les endroits les plus sensible en cas de chute car la surface de contact est très faible, donc l’absorption du choc se fera dans tout le smartphone.Spigen creuse un peu les coins à l’intérieur de la coque. Le but est de créer un petit coussin d’air pour amortir le choc. J’avais pu, malheureusement, tester ça sur mon OnePlus 3 et en effet cela fonctionne.Accès aux fonctions du smartphoneBOUTONS/JACK/HP/RECHARGEles boutons sont surmoulés dans la coque sauf le slider d’alertes. Ce dernier est relativement bien accessible. Le cliquant des boutons avec la coque installée est top, j’adore vraiment. Même plus que la Karbon Bumper officielle.Pas de soucis pour le jack, on peut même mettre des grosses prises sans problèmes.La découpe du HP est large et laisse donc parfaitement sortir le son.Le port USB-C est accessible même aux gros cables.ÉCRANL’écran est accessible sans problème. Les bords de la coque sont légèrement biseauté ce qui permet d’optimiser l’utilisation de l’écran.On peut mettre une vitre mais attention à la vitre officielle OnePlus. En effet la coque semble revenir trop sur le devant et donc peut la décoller.DurabilitéClairement rien à dire. Des rayures apparaissent au fil du temps mais cela reste dû à l’usage pas comme la Orzly.La coque peut résister à des coups de clés et autres sans perdre de morceaux.La couleurs et le revêtement sont de bonnes qualité et ne se dégraderont pas aussi vite que la coque officielle en silicone.Une référence encore en durabilité.ConclusionEncore une fois la Rugged Armor rassemble quasiment toutes les qualités d’une bonne coque. Esthétisme, protection, finition et durabilité. Bref pour moins de 10€ c’est presque un must-have !

Ho avuto modo di provare la Spigen Cover Rugged Armor per il mio OnePlus 5 e devo dire che mi ha molto impressionato. La cover ha un design elegante e minimalista, ma al tempo stesso offre una protezione molto solida e robusta.La cover si adatta perfettamente al mio OnePlus 5 e tutte le porte, i pulsanti e i sensori sono facilmente accessibili senza alcuna difficoltà. Inoltre, la superficie della cover ha un rivestimento anti-scivolo che offre una presa salda e sicura.La cover è realizzata con materiali di alta qualità e sembra molto resistente e duratura. Ho fatto cadere il mio telefono diverse volte e la cover ha assorbito l'impatto senza alcun danno al telefono.

Fits Perfectly Looks Nice Buttons Are Briliant

Spedizione: rapidissima (in anticipo di un giorno).Spendo piacevolmente più di qualche parola in favore di Spigen, di cui utilizzo già il supporto auto per smartphone  Supporto Auto Smartphone, Spigen Transformer, Tecnologia Premium OneTap, Universale 360 gradi, One Touch, Cruscotto e Parabrezza Allungabile, Supporto Auto Telefono, Supporto Smartphone - TS35, Nero  . Preciso che non ho mai utilizzato queste cover e, come ogni nuova esperienza, qualche dubbio mi era concesso. Partendo dai materiali, posso dire che la sensazione di robustezza che avvolge lo smartphone, unita a quel tocco di eleganza in aggiunta a quella che OP5 giù di suo possiede, non è soltanto una sensazione bensì un dato di fatto. Non troppo rigida (da spaccarsi come la plastica), nè troppo morbida (come il silicone, col rischio che lo smartphone si sfili accidentalmente alla prima torsione) al punto tale da assicurare un grip in perfetto equilibrio tra la sicurezza che non scivoli dalla mano e la possibilità di riporlo in tasca senza troppa difficoltà. Punti a favore, inoltre, sono: 1) la precisione degli intagli corrispondenti al jack per le cuffie, l'ingresso type-c, l'uscita speaker ed il selettore per le modalità di notifica che, a mio parere, ha una dimensione davvero adeguata al movimento digitale; 2) segmenti in rilievo in corrispondenza di bilanciere del volume e tasto accensione/spegnimento/standby morbidi ma perfettamente allineati ai tasti corrispondenti e con quella sensazione di "click" al tocco; 3) l'oblò in corrispondenza delle lenti della fotocamera e del flash, intagliato in modo perfettamente aderente al bumper ma forse un po' troppo in larghezza sul lato destro del flash (tenendo la fotocamera a sinistra): 4) la struttura interna mostra un disegno particolare che permette a quel poco calore prodotto dallo smartphone o acquisito dall'ambiente di utilizzo, di circolare in modo "guidato" verso le pareti della cover per poi defluire all'esterno.Termino la mia revisione di questa eccellente cover esprimendo nuovamente il mio apprezzamento per il design sebbene lo smartphone risenta dell'acquisizione di spessore e larghezza tutto sommato, accettabili. Il perimetro segue le linee curve dello smartphone e la curvatura a ridosso del display lascia immaginare (fortunatamente per adesso non ha subìto cadute :D) danni ridottissimi o forse nulli, pur cadendo faccia in giù.La mia opinione? Ho idea che Spigen sia riuscita a creare il connubio ideale tra efficienza, praticità e raffinatezza di cui avevo bisogno.
