3D Arabic Alphabet Puzzle by ThinkerNation

This puzzle is hands down the best Arabic alphabet puzzle I've seen. I have been searching for something like this for a long time. When I bought it, I was hoping it would be similar in quality to Melissa and Doug or Hape. Now that I have it, I have to say this puzzle is sooo much better!! SIZE: First of all this puzzle is HUGE. It's bigger than our laptop. THE BOARD: The puzzle board is made of a nice quality wood and the back is a chalkboard which our kids find endlessly fascinating. THE PIECES: The letter pieces are colored beautifully, cut true to their shape, and all the dots are attached. The dots pop out so you can feel them and try to guess the letter with your eyes closed. My favorite part is how large and chunky they are! You can stack them to build a tower and many of the pieces can even stand on their own. They are easy for small hands to handle and fit nicely into the board. No sharp edges, all the corners are rounded. THE LEARNING: After a little while playing with it, I realized we could use it for grouping and counting as well because it has 7 green pieces, 6 blue, 5 red, etc. It comes with a learning guide on the inside cover of the box that gives the phonetic english transliteration for the letter names, the 7 colors used in the puzzle and the numbers 1 to 7 in arabic. No arabic skills required and from playing with it alongside the kids I've actually picked up the color and number names too! Seems very durable and the box can be used for storage. When it's time to clean up, all the pieces just go back in the box. DELIVERY : Delivery was quick and the buying process painless. OVERALL: Our kids love it and it's a really fun way to learn. I am so glad we bought this. I actually bought a second one to donate to our local library and thinking I'll get another for our mosque. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to teach their kids arabic or learn it themselves.

Love this puzzle. Pieces fit great in my toddlers hand. Nice shapes and great colors. Puzzle pieces fit great in their places and he loves it. Wish the puzzle came in a higher quality box though especially simce it has a nice littls chart on the inside.

I am not happy with purchasing this board

Amazing product! My soon to be 2 year old son loves this! With the large arabic font and the bright colours, it instantly caught his attention. Believe it or not we have only been going through the Arabic for less than a month and he already knows all his letters! MashAllah! I'm in love with thinkernation products. I plan to purchase again for my friends and family with small children! Keep up the awesome work and providing families a chance at teaching their child(ren) a new language!

A sturdy, unique item that is wonderful for a hands-on language learning experience. Such a rare find, the product does not disappoint. Very well made and sizable.

This is good for teaching, however the paint does chip off after a while.

Love how well crafted these letters are. Smooth edged, safe and sturdy. Also large letters makes it easy for my toddler to pick up. Easily, the best investment I ever made. My son who will be 2 inA in a couple weeks is still very interested in these letters. He also likes to stack them. Beautiful bright colors

They are nice big and chunky. Much bigger then the regular wooden puzzle and are thick too. I bought this for my daughter and she enjoys playing with it. Great quality
