UGREEN USB to Ethemet Adapter, 10/100Mbps Network Adapter (Not for Wii)

Got this to hardwire my Switch for gaming and it connected instantly with zero setup needed. My ping dropped noticeably and I stopped having random disconnects in the middle of matches which was the whole reason I bought it. The indicator lights are a nice touch so you can actually see it is active and working. Compatible with pretty much everything and the price is totally reasonable.

I bought this for a "laplet" device that naturally lacks an ethernet connection (it has built in WiFi.) This is mostly for emergency use and stuff like connecting directly to a router where WiFi control is disabled for security. I won't attempt to diagnose its performance. The speed seems to be fine and it's not running slowly enough to notice. One thing I can verify is that a sustained long term transfer of data across the network makes the device get rather warm (not outright "hot" just warm) to the touch, but it hasn't torn up from my doing this several times for a few hours each time, but I do worry that significant long term use could wear it out. I doubt this would be a frequent issue for most. I'm not sure of even that however. Only time will tell in this respect I suppose. One thing of note: it does not require drivers. In both Windows and recent Linux distros, it is simply plug and play. It came with a disc, but I never even bothered to dig out my optical drive to see what was on it. I presume drivers for older OSes. It was unnecessary, but it's always a nice touch to have official support for such things if this is the case. As I do not know what circumstances in which I may necessarily need this, this is very helpful to find it working in basically everything I actually use.

Without a lan adapter, my switch was practically more of an almost satisfying system if it just had either an Ethernet port on the dock let alone the capability to have stable Wi-Fi connection. Getting this has just about *nearly* help with that. Once I had this adapter plugged in, I went to test my connection. I was in a little disbelief that I saw at first a decent improvement but once trying it again, I was actually getting lower download and upload speed. I’m now able to go into the Eshop a bit faster, however the connecting lag seemed more noticeable when I try to browser the shop. The real big notice came when I played some games online in which I was able to boot up to the lobbies a lot faster and play games without getting any lag let alone getting kicked out of the lobby because of unstable connection. I really was happy to be able to play games online a lot better thanks to this adapter. My final verdict is that this adapter does the job well for stabilizing my connection for online gaming on switch. Would recommending this to anyone that has the same intention

What is this sorcery? Well as others have pointed out this will make a cheap 3 series TCL TV that doesn't have an Ethernet port, well have one. It's not exactly plug and play, but it's not difficult either. Plug this into the USB port, forget all WiFi networks, reset the network connection, reboot, maybe twice, and there you go connected to wired network. I have lots of USB Ethernet adapters, and yea I tried this before, didn't do anything, but this one, this one magically works, must be the only chip they support on the USB port. A Fire Stick adapter does not work, no gigabit adapter I have works, Realtek ones don't work, but this one does, and it works just like the port is built in (mostly), show wired and wireless MACs in the About, supports cloud control, Apple Homekit, all the features of the TCL TV. And it's a whole lot more stable than the iffy WiFi these TVs come with. it's a good thing.

Can confirm is compatible with Nintendo Switch to connect via Ethernet/Wired/LAN. Works, feels and looks quality, and connects a Nintendo Switch for $20 less than Nintendo's proprietary nonsense cashgrab for compatibility the earlier switches should have already came with, but I digress lol.

My Roku streambar pro all of a sudden lost all wireless internet connection and I was about to throw away the whole system after trying all the reset options I was able to find online. It was driving me crazy that I was about to have an expensive paperweight. It finally occurred to me to try a wired connection and after some research came across a forum recommending this dongle. I was unsure if it would work but given the price I said why not. Product was delivered fast and looks sleek and modern (unlike the other bulky recommendations). It was a simple plug and play, along with a cat8 ugreen Ethernet cable, to my internet router and voila! My Roku was back in business. The wireless connection is still messed up for whatever reason but as long as my wired connection runs smoothly I’m happy. As others pointed out, the “10/100 only” Ethernet speed is what’s needed to have a wired connection for a Roku device which was true for this case. Have not tried out a 10/100/1000 but will probably do out of curiosity since the dongles are cheap enough. If I do I’ll update this review.

Probably a fine adapter. However, i bought it to use with a wii. Despite what you may read in the other comments, it DOES NOT WORK WITH WII. Maybe it previously shipped units did, but not anymore.

La mogliettina mi regala (su mia indicazione :-) ) un mini pc (Komu) a cui manca la porta Ethernet, ho acquistato questo oggetto per evitare di utilizzare il wifi. Dire che la spedizione di Amazon è veloce oramai non fa notizia: ordinato il pomeriggio, arrivato a mezzogiorno del giorno dopo! Imballo sempre perfetto, scatola completamente sigillata. Nella confezione ho trovato il libretto di istruzioni, modulino di garanzia, un mini cd con i drivers (che non ho utilizzato) ed ovviamente il convertitore usb-Ethernet. La chicca è stato trovare il tappino di protezione in plastica sulla spinetta USB. Collegato prima ad un pc con windows8 e poi ad uno con windows10, pochi secondi per riconoscere la periferica e via, già pronta all'uso. Non c'è nulla da spiegare sul funzionamento, si tratta semplicemente di una porta Ethernet, ho collegato il mio cavo e subito il mini pc era connesso alla rete. Prodotto dall'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ho addirittura ricevuto una mail dal venditore che mi ringraziava per l'acquisto e mi sollecitava a contattarli qualora vi fossero stati problemi con la periferica o se avessi avuto bisogno di aiuto. Conector para red RJ45 a USB 2.0. Funciona perfectamente, se configura enseguida y no da problemas; que es lo que pides a este tipo de aparatos. Llevo funcionando a diario con él desde hace más de 2 meses y funciona perfectamente, sin caídas ni cosas raras; lo tendría que haber comprado antes.
