It would be easy to dismiss this as another Disney Soundtrack, but that would be extremely unfair. the songs are up to Lion King standard the music much better. Jerry Goldsmith turns out one of his best scores in recent years for this cartoon film and by taking it seriously comes away with a classic piece of music indeed. Although it has its tender moments the vaulting horns are a moving experience. Just close your eys and old China is there before you. Worth buying just for the orchestrals.

This cd has everything a personcould want. Although there are some reall crummy pop songs at the beginning, the actual songs from the film are brilliant. My favourite score has to be "haircut", where she decides to run away and cut her hair (as if that wasnt obvious). I also always love singing along to the song Reflection, and the "Ill make a man out of you" is great when you just feel like messing about.I recommend this soudntrack.

I can not emphasise enough the quality of the music contained on this soundtrack. Anyone who is a fan of the film will be aware of the serene, relaxed oriental sound of the score, and this is reflected throughout this CD. The extra tracks include a fantastic version of 'Reflection', performed by Violinist Vanessa Mae, which is missing from the US version. The only track which i didn't like was the Christina Aguelera song, which was too contemporary and didn't seem to fit. I'm sure younger listners would like it though.
