Neater Feeder Deluxe Small Dog

Tried several different feeder configurations for my elderly cat (21-yrs). This one hit the mark on all counts.I have to feed him his meals inside a large dog crate to keep the other pets away from him while he eats (so he can be relaxed and get all his food). This unit slips easily into the crate with both bowls in place (one for soft food, one for dry). Clean up is a breeze because it confines spills, so no more do I have to get down on my hands and knees to reach to the back of the crate after every meal. Also, the high sides shield his food from the long-reaching paws of my two young cats trying to snatch his food through the bars of the crate. And it raises the food so he can eat easier and with less mess (he is 21-yrs old afterall, that's like 100 in kitty-years). Oh, and his regular bowls I was using fit nicely into the holes in this one, so I don't need to use the metal ones that came with it; we can keep using his ceramic bowls (which is nice since I often warm his wet food just a bit in the microwave first).

I bought this because I have an American XL Bully that leaves a pool everyone he drinks. I was in hopes this would help. As he drinks, he doesn’t have to lower his head as much which actually has helped with the pools of water after each drinking.It’s very well made, sturdy, an excellent height, and most of all……. FAR LESS SLOBBER on the floor which means less mopping every few minutes.It does come with metal bowls which sit at a slight angle, the one bowl seems to be a bit larger than the other bowl which makes it a tiny bit difficult to replace when full of water, but other than that it’s awesome.At the bottom (under the metal dishes) is where the water drains into it when my Bully drinks. This does need to be emptied periodically, but it’s far better than sliding in the left behind pools every five minutes.

I bought this and initially all was well. The tag on my dogs collar got stuck in the plastic, taking the entire dish with her. Water and food everywhere. She will no longer eat and drink from it. Scared her so badly she won't sleep on her pillow and has much anxiety. Her behavior in the last 48 hours I have never seen by any dog over my 60 years. She is scared to death. The product worked well until this occurrence. Perhaps in the design make it solid on the top to avoid dog tags getting caught in the open space. She is a large lab. I am sad that she acts traumatized as this was the first product that I didn't have water all over my floor, but I cannot use it due to her new fear and won't do that to her.

We have a border collie mix, about 50 lbs, and got the medium size. The medium's bowl sizes are big enough for him and it does not take up too much floor space. He is a messy drinker and this works much better than any mat or towel I have tried- mainly because of the back height which prevents water splashing onto the wall & floor behind his bowl. He still dribbles as he walks away but no bowl setup can prevent that.

We first looked at the Weather Tech system but found this one and liked that it protected our walls with the splash guard. It’s at a nice height for our golden retriever. Great buy for the money

This Neater Feeder looks great and truly has done a fantastic job of keeping the floor dry. It's been exactly what we needed. I wish I had gotten one sooner.

We have a 180 pound Great Dane and he is constantly pushing his food out of the bowl making a mess on the floor. We bought him the XL feeder and our littler pups the medium feeder because he does it to their food as well. No more food on the floor. Thank you for a great product!

This has really helped my elderly dog.He was knocking over his food and water bowls but he doesn’t do that with thisI love that it’s so very easy to clean

It took our Boxer a few days to get used to it but he’s now eating and drinking quite happily and I’m no longer sweeping and cleaning the kitchen floor all day long.I didn’t purchase the extended legs as I thought they seemed quite expensive for what they were but in hindsight I think we need them. An additional purchase may we’ll be required soon!

I originally had the large version of this for my German Shepherd Noah who very sadly passed away earlier this year. I brought that one from another seller. But I now need a slightly smaller one and managed to get the size I wanted from Amazon - these are brilliant definitely reduce mess and and are easy to clean

I don't do reviews. Can never be bothered. But OMG if there was ever a dog bowl to get excited over then this is the one.I have been feeding the dog in the garage for the last 12 months. He is such a messy drinker to the point I thought we had a leak and the flooring was warping.I have had this in the hall on my shiny new laminate flooring for nearly two weeks now and so far all bone dry. He can no longer drink with half his mouth over the side of the bowl (I have tried anti-gulp bowls in the past and these made no difference).I've even tried kicking this bowl and the water just goes into the reservoir below. It is expensive but worth every penny. Just waiting on the leg extensions to make it a bit taller and it will be perfect for my dogs height then. If you have got a dog that spills more water than he drinks then this is definitely the feeder for you.

This is the perfect solution to having a larger dog. Easy to set up, clean and maintain. Proximity of bowls to each other means crossover between water and food into each other sometimes but this proved not to be a real problem, which is outweighed by their usefulness, design, etc.However, still not tall enough for bigger breeds of dog such as a Great Dane, Mastiff, etc. despite having purchased the height extension feet.For the majority of dog owners this is a well designed quality solution of feeding/watering dogs giving less work to the owner.

Bought this for my 6 month old boxer and unfortunately had to send item back as it was in no way big enough. The bowls are very small and even at six months old he would of struggled to eat out of them. Good product in theory shame about bowl size.
