Size & fit great
The fit of the jean jacket was as described. I did order a large. I am 5'11'' The sleeves were Not long they were the proper length and came to my wrist as they should have. The color was a little darker than the picture but still a nice washed-out blue. Looking forward to years of wearing this jacket. The jacket is high quality with excellent stitching. I am a consumer and was not compensated for this review.

Great jacket
5โ 10โ, 160 lb, 46โ chest, 38โ waist.I bought a size L jacket in antique indigo. I thought it might be too tight, but it fit perfectly, with enough room to wear a layer underneath. The sleeves were a good length, with maybe ยฝโ extra for shrinkage in the wash.It was difficult at first to button the jacket. I cleaned up the button holes carefully with a small pair of scissors and now itโs much easier.I had tried the Leviโs Menโs Trucker Jacket, also in a L. It felt a bit snug in the chest and tight under the shoulder. Not much room for layering.I decided to keep the Wrangler jacket. The fit is looser. I like the the square chest pockets (which will actually hold something) and straight vertical seams over the Leviโs small, tapered pockets and diagonal seams.

Great Denim Jacket...Here's What You Are Buying
This Wrangler jacket exceeded our expectations. The first thing you notice is the weight. It really is made with heavy duty 100% cotton denim. The stitching is well done. It's a handsome demim jacket. Although it's made in Bangladesh, it's good quality and expected to last a reasonable time. After trying an item on to make sure it fits properly and there are no defects, I always wash clothes before wearing them. Instructions are wash in cold water/dry on low setting/iron if needed. Be sure to wash this alone the first time unless you have a pair of faded blue jeans you want to add a little more color to. Just like their blue denim jeans, the blue dye does run during the first two washings so the wash water will be VERY blue the first time around. I took the jacket out of the dryer immediately so there were no wrinkles and no need to iron. Looked great. The sleeve length did shrink about half an inch which we were expecting. I suspect there might be another half inch shrinkage over time. There are two front breast pockets which are wide enough to get your hand in. Compared to a Levi denim jacket hubby has, these two pockets are just a little larger. He says these pockets are nicer for a man's hand....not too big but not so small you can't use them. There are also two outside side pockets (my husband calls them handwarmers) and two inside side pockets. The inside side pockets are a good size and deep so I think you could fit most anything in them that a guy would carry around in his jacket. My husband likes the fact that you can fit a business size envelope in them without worry that they'll fall out.

Sturdy jacket for putting patches on
For reference I'm a 5'8" 185 pound female and ordered a size large. The jacket is alot heavier and thicker than I thought but that is probably good. I wanted a sort of oversized look so I went with a large. I haven't washed it and it fits enough to be buttoned with some room, except around my hips it's sort of tight there but I have wide hips so that's not the jackets fault. The sleeves are pretty big, alot bigger than I expected, but taper and fit close around the wrist. The sleeves are also long enough to cover most of my hand so you can wear them normally or roll the sleeves up a little and they will still cover your arms fully. All in all I bought this wanting a slightly oversized sturdy jacket that I could put patches on and I am pretty happy with this purchase. I will update this review if anything changes after washing it.

two thumbs up!
packaging, sale and shipping:- as usual, Amazon is on point on these parameters. I received item sooner than expected, and at $37 with free shipping, it couldnt have gotten much better. Packaging was excellent as usual, and the ordered item was delivered in the appropriate size.the item:appearance/feel: this jacket is lovely; it's shade of blue is just as it appears in the picture, and the texture/fabric is amazingly thick and solid. I'll be buying another in a few!sizing: it could literally have been made for me; I ordered a "large" and it sits snugly in the appropriate places - wrist, shoulders, waist.cons:- i have absolutely none related to me; however, I feel it might be helpful if I point out a few things about the sizing, particularly concerning the "large". My shirt size is L/16, 32-33; this jacket feels and sits on me like a 16/32-33; I wouldnt recommend this size for people who wear Large/16, 34-35 as you might find the arms too short. you may want to consider an XL, or perhaps the big and tall Large? This of course is just my own opinion, and it's possible you might be able to wing it! (i also cannot guarantee that either the big and tall L, or regular XL would be a better fit!)conclusion:this jacket is an absolute must have for all denim die hard fans! excellent product and service from both the maker and seller.

Really Terrific Jean Jacket!
This Wrangler Men's jean jacket was purchased by Sleepy Jim's spouse, and she loves it! The size large is the perfect size for her woman's size 14 self (large: 38-40 bust, 34-35 waist, about 155-158 lbs., 5'7" height). She washed it in warm water and put it in the dryer on low: the jacket shrunk just a little -- enough to make the arms the perfect length to fit the equivalent of a 34-35" sleeve-length men's shirt (she also wears men's shirt size 15.5 collar, 34 sleeve), and the front of the jacket still buttons shut. The hand pockets on the outside are in just the right position, and the lined inside pockets (directly behind the outside hand pockets) are large enough to handle keys, phones, wallets, sunglasses in a case, small note pads, and other objects. The buttoned front chest pockets are small, but larger than those of other brand jean jackets (not yet sure what to use these for...). Because the inside pockets do not have a secure closure (no zipper or button closure), she plans to sew plastic o-rings into the seams and use accessories designed and manufactured by Bihn Bags to securely clip wallets, small zippered pouches, and key rings to the inside pockets. The fabric is heavy traditional 100% cotton denim and feels wonderful ... no stretchy stuff, no fake tears and wears, just a nice faded denim...as though it has been worn a bit but doesn't look fake. No silly fashion details. The Wrangler Rugged Wear label is inside below the collar (made in Bangladesh. The antiqued brass buttons are embossed with "Wrangler." Stitching on the jacket is traditional gold/ochre. Also, the price of this Wrangler jacket is so much more reasonable than the price of a Levi or Gap jacket.

Perfect jacket for picky husband!!!
My husband; who thinks he is special, says this jacket is: 'perfect'. Wow! He even said the fit is 'perfect'. I just about fell over because he is so particular. In fact, this wasn't the first jean jacket I bought on line, I had to send back the first one that had kind of a cooler brand name than the tried and true Wrangler Rugged Wear label. That other jacket didn't fit well at all, the sleeves were much too tight, and the denim wasn't of a weight that would stand up to a mans useage. This Wrangler jacket is a really nice color, already broke in, as the title implies, vintage. Another asset of the jacket is the cut across the lower back, it fits nicely, doesn't stick out at the waist as his old jean jackets did. Thanks Wrangler for a favorable price too, almost half of the jacket I perceived as the 'cooler' brand. And thank you Amazon for coming through for us, there are no jean jackets in the stores this year, so I saved the day by shopping on line, my favorite pasttime...

A good fit
I ordered the large because that is what I normally wear. (I did do the measurements as they suggested just to see what it said). It fits great. There are 2 large pockets on the inside of this jacket. I would recommend this with no hesitation. A very good value. Arrived very fast.
