Weird Flavor, Not Traditional Vanilla
Weird "vanilla" taste... Not what you're expecting regarding traditional vanilla. Not sure what it is or where it comes from but it's not "vanilla."

Vanilla is always important when you’re baking. The price was really good as was the vanilla. I love the clear vanilla and you get that great flavor in your baked goods.

Slight cinnamon taste?
This gave my buttercream frosting a slight cinnamon taste. Not sure if Mexican vanilla is different from the American versions but it definitely changed the taste of my frosting. I had 2 different people comment on the taste so I don't think I'm wrong. It is usable in other recipes so I will keep it for those. Just won't use it for buttercream frosting.
