This brush is ideal for girls who are learning to straighten their own hair. My biggest problem is the size of the bristles. They’re quite large which can cause pain if you haven’t carefully gotten all of the tangles out. Be sure to thoroughly brush your hair before using this! Because it’s a brush and a little awkward it doesn’t get close to the scalp so for a sleek look you may want to run your normal straightener through the hair closest to your scalp. Overall it’s a good purchase for beginners but I think you get a better result with an actual straightener.

I absolutely love my Glossie. It used to take me 2 hours to straighten my hair with a blow dryer. 5 years ago I bought the original InStlyer which took the time down to about an hour. With the Glossie, I can straighten my hair in 20 minutes! The only drawback is that unlike blowing it out or using the og InStyler, I can't put a little curl in the ends of my hair, but to me, this is not a big deal at all.A few tips:1. Use a thermal protectant spray to protect your hair. Make sure your hair is completely dry as this is not meant for wet to dry applications.3. Thoroughly brush each section of hair before using the Glossie on it.4. Make a few passes on each section of hair you're working with. I seem to get the best results with 3 passes.5. Use a de-frizzing oil or lotion after straightening. I just received it and the box was already open and the container inside the box was broke so I believe I received returned item I did try it it seems work good so three stars for it

I bought this for my wife for xmas and "OMG this is the best present ever"! The pics attached to the review are after only 15 minutes of use, no hair product (spray, gel, etc.) and only her second time using it. She's had countless straighteners/flateners and trips to the salon for blow outs and has never seen results like this. Very easy to use, quick, and her hair is beautifully and evenly straight and soft. I can't recommend this enough to everyone out there!!!

I absolutely LOVE this thing! It straightens my long fine hair in record time (3-5 minutes, compared to 10-15 minutes using traditional straight irons), my hair doesn't get snagged/pulled on any part of it like it would with every flat iron I've ever used, and my hair seems less dried out and frizzy. Highly recommend!
