This book helped me a lot. It's a practical guide and can easily be related to your life. Only thing was not there that it has been written with a perspective of couple. And being a student it did not touched student's point of view much

Il problema è praticamente misconosciuto dalla maggior parte delle società moderne, tutte concentrate nella realizzazione della cosiddetta "rivoluzione sessuale" partita col '68. Ebbene la liberazione di alcuni coincide con la dipendenza di molti e con un'immane carico di sofferenza e fallimento soprattutto a carico delle famiglie e delle relazioni sociali in genere.

This book along with Gary Wilson book "Your brain on Porn" gave me all of the tools needed to fight with this terrible addiction. I wish someone have told me about the very bad consequences of using porn at an earlier stage of my life. This book talks about the different topics such as the consequences of using porn, stories of porn users, how to fight urges, relapses and what to learn from them and new approach for sex. "The porn trap" does not go into details about the neuroscience of this addiction; "Your brain on Porn" does. Read both books and you will have a big arsenal of tools to fight this addiction.

Great book. Recommended for anyone having issues or connected with someone having issues with sex addiction. Which is currently underground, but will explode in the coming years with the widely available and tolerated porn industry online.

This book brought me to terms with my own addiction. It didn’t placate to an unwilling ignorance, of not guilty. No I am guilty but I am on the road to recovery, fortunately for myself much younger than most in this story and I really feel for the time lost to this addiction. There is hope. This is addiction of pornography is a threat. It must be handled as such.
