The old blender is back in business
My trusty Kitchen Aid blender was still running strong, but the coupler on the base had worn out and crumbled. Instead of buying a new blender, I found this replacement kit that came with two couplers and a thin wrench. This kit worked perfectly!To replace the part, I first had to remove the old coupler. I used the skinny wrench included in the kit to hold the old coupler in place, and I used a 10-inch pipe wrench to grip the metal base and turned it clockwise to loosen and remove it. I used the pipe wrench to turn it, as I needed something that could open wide to grasp it.Installing the new coupler was a breeze. I placed the new part on the post and turned it counter-clockwise to tighten it. I used the pipe wrench to finish tightening, but was careful not to over-tighten. Easy repair for a KitchenAid blender
A perfect fit for my KitchenAid Blender. Repair was easy. Remember this is put on with a reverse thread. Use the small thin wrench to hold the shaft below the black rubber/plastic spinner in place. It needs to fit in the two flat sides of the shaft which you can't see with the spinner in place, so feel around with the wrench until it guides in fully. I did use a separate grippy wrench from my garage to remove the old, shattered black rubber/plastic spinner while holding the supplied thin wrench in place so the blender shaft would not spin. I tightened down the new plastic/rubber spinner and the repair was complete!

Good Price, Good Delivery, The Outside dimension of the spanner wrench is too wide for the KitchenAid blender to be useful, No worries I have a grinder and corrected the issue and worked fine.

Exactly what I needed
