Not in English but, eh. Not a big deal.
Description says audio is in English, it isn't. Not a big deal as there are subs. I came for the fight scenes based on Condor Crew recommendation. Was not disappointed. :D

Jija Mitananda steals the show
Jija (chocolate, raging phoenix) plays a cousin of the family and her level of fighting feels in this movie feels like she is bolding back to not outshine " the stars". The cover of the movie makes it look like it is on par with Flashpoint but it is not. Great movie for Power ranger and ninja kids strike back fans but had one too many jokes in it. The girls of this movie outshine the guys. The guy dance fighting in MC hammer pants is interesting tho but the same fight routine basically 3 times gets old.

Martial Arts Action is Outstanding
I watched this because I'm a big Ye Ji Won fan. It was actually funny at times and the martial arts were really good. The plot is flat but the action makes up for it. Nice way to spend a Saturday afternoon.

The TKD is Great top notch.
The five STAR rating is for TKD, its top notch no doubt. Better editing on the storytelling, it just follows the fighting in several places to many just for a simple story.

Cool
I really like the action and martial arts in this movie. The storyline and acting are kinda dorky. I checked this out because it has JeeJa Yanin in it and I think she's awesome. She's not the main character though and doesn't have a ton of scenes. But I definitely liked Na Tae-joo who plays the main character. He has awesome moves. And also Kim Kyeong-suk (who plays his sister). She has definite skills. I'd love to see more of their films.

Kind of cool family action film
This movie tries to straddle the line between slightly comedic family film and full on martial arts action film. It succeeds about halfway on both sides of the coin. That's not to say it isn't enjoyable... it IS. Just don't go in expecting Ong Bak or anything resembling Tony Jaa's best work. It's a nice family action film that does its job... and my son loved it so that's all that matters to me. :)

Excellent martial arts fight choreography and execution
The Kick DVDPROS: Excellent martial arts fight choreography and execution, especially by the son and daughter of the family. CONS: Silly story but totally watchable. Yanin was not as dynamic as in Chocolate and in only a few scenes.

Chococolate star takes a back seat
This is a patchy kung fu comedy co-production about a Korean family in Thailand. The family gets involved in drawn-out conflict with a gangster who steals a near-priceless artifact (a Royal dagger said to have special powers), and that's about the size of it.I think that many of the jokey bits are embarrassingly weak. There's a dingdong against thugs in a kitchen involving support 'good guys' beautiful Mum Ye Ji Won and avuncular Phetthai Vonkumlao (also has credits as a Thai film director) which I enjoyed as being one of the funnier better-staged bits. Maybe Vonkumlao added ideas of his own here.Tae-joo Na makes for a rather uncharismatic hero but physically gives his all as the son (who has to prove himself to onetime gold medal hopeful dad), often taking on the baddies including the virtually indestructible head villain (sporting male model cheekbones) single-handed. The girls are not left far behind in the action stakes either. The end credits reveal that several bad accidents occurred amongst the cast, Na not least, who performs some stunts involving elephants!Jija (or Jeeja) Yanin, who scored such brilliant impact (in both senses) in Chocolate suffered serious neck fracture when filming the at least equally arduous Raging Phoenix. This probably explains why she has a minor role here. Most disappointing is her highly anticipated but poorly edited rooftop fight against the chief henchwoman near the end. Even so, her improvised-style earlier action bit with a forked stick suggests an innate Jackie Chan wit and inventiveness. This is evenmore evident in her back-in-business (all-Thai) 'Buster Keatonesque' This Girl is Badass, directed by co-star Vongkumlao (Wonghamlao on the imported DVD cover). Also released in 2011 but apparently still not available in the UK.The Kick, tiresome and repetitive moments apart, is on occasion fair hand/foot-to-hand/foot entertainment with a largely unfamiliar game cast but in my view not a good example from the director of the thrilling and less overblown Chocolate etc.

What a CRAZY movie???????
Prachya Pinkaew has done it again!!!!. Martial arts are incredible, the main kid alone is amazing ( he can get a 14 hit combo like nobodies bussiness)
