V-A-G 506M Code Reader Vehicle Engine Fault Code Reader Diagnostic Tool Support TP-CANBUS/New UDS Protocol with Resets Oil Service Light Function

Battery died in my 2016 vw Jetta GLI and it caused the airbag light to come on. Got this tool and cleared the code. Would have cost 150 for the dealer to erase the code. Worked great.

I have a 2007 Audi A4 and 2013 VW Tiuguan. Within a few days of each other engine lights on both vehicles came on. I researched on YouTube and Amazon and found that VW/AUDI/SEAT/SKODA Code Reader V-A-G 506M was a economical way of getting the codes . I ordered the Code Reader and received it promptly. It was harder to find the receptacle plug in the cars than to plug-in in the code reader. It was so easy. I got the codes and cross referenced online with the associated problem. Very easy to use product and very accurate. Comes with a comprehensive instruction manual.

The website to update only half works the contact us doesn't work. Won't do what I bought it for.

Worked great on 2007 VW EOS. Once the software was updated from their website help narrow down lean idle codes. No more check engine light.

This is an ideal tool for someone who has this type of car. Works great. i am really pleased.

I purchased this tool based on other reviewers comments that it will reset the service/inspection required indicator on Audi A4 (2018 my).It will not, repeat not, do that.It WILL reset the oil change required indicator but that can be done via the Audi Mmi: no advantage to this tool.I am returning mine for a refund.

Easy to use. Glad that I can access my onboard computer instead of Audi. But it didn't work for my purposes. You can reset the oil change mileage, and some other things. But the service interval alert won't reset, nor will my air bag warning light that's been on for 4 years. Audi a4 2015.

This tool was exactly what I needed it save me time and money.
