I made a whole body lotion for my son’s eczema with this tallow in combination with jojoba oil and castor oil. Worked so well; thank you Hudson family! I will buy again. Some of the properties are: very smooth, white in color, NO smell at all, not greasy at all, melts down well, firms back up very well.

Seems great! I was very happy with the consistency, color and lack of strong smell. Will definitely buy this brand now!!

I have come to find that I am SUPER picky about Tallow, but this exceeds all of my expectations for consistency, smell (or lack thereof), meltability and taste. I use it for both cooking and making all sorts of tallow lotions, and I am so excited I don't have to buy two different brands anymore. It is super healthy, easy to scoop and a beautiful white and almost fluffy (the way tallow should be). I've been really freaked out by other brands due to a very low smoke point, but this one is definitely 100% pure. It's truly a bucket of pure perfection and the value is 10/10. I hope it stays in stock forever because I don't know what I would do without it!

***Updated review: July 31 The seller reached out and worked hard to resolve the issue. They offered a full refund and gave several tips on how to fix the problem. While I still have not been as happy with the whipped product, I have been cooking with it and have been pleased with the results. My main concern was that I have a decent customer base that is used to a particular quality of whipped tallow and this seems to be more difficult to work with. I'm still not entirely sure why but it is excellent to cook with and fine for making balms and other similar products! It is also very reasonably priced. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ customer service and support. Original review: I make whipped tallow products for my small business. When the product arrived, it was melted. (Which is normal in hot temps.) However, even after staying at room temp it never solidified. I render lard and regularly use tallow so I checked the consistency of those. While slightly soft, they were nothing compared to this brand. Even after chilling for a short amount of time, it didn't take long for the tallow to return to a soupy consistency. Unfortunately, this tallow is not great for making whipped products. Unless I got a faulty batch, I would only recommend it for cooking. It's way too runny.

Exactly as described, definitely lives up to the hype. Amazon delivery tried to ruin it by leaving it in full sun on a 90+ degree day instead of the 2 covered patios that were available, but thankfully, I was able to rescue it before the product was damaged. The almost zero smell (I have an extremely sensitive sense of smell and it's not unpleasant, still barely detectable, and will likely disappear in finished products, most people probably won't be able to smell it), whiteness, and easy scoopability make it perfect for the soapmaking and skin products I intend it for. While I wish now that I had ordered 30 lbs instead of 7 lbs, I am glad I decided to try a new tallow supplier. I will definitely be ordering more.
