Great 3 games especially on Switch 2!
I’d highly recommend getting this “generation pack” which includes 3 games: • Resident Evil 7 (Gold edition) • Resident Evil 8 (Gold edition) • Resident Evil 9 Requiem This ‘generation pack’ is only available for a limited time until 31st March 2026 according to Nintendo. However please note that these games come in physical cartridges but are “game key card” so they will require a full download using internet and no game data is stored on the game card itself. I have attached an image below that comes up on the Switch 2 when you put the game cartridge in to show. Performs surprisingly well for the Switch 2 console. I’ve tried playing TV mode with the Switch 2 Resident Evil pro controller (*sold separately) and I highly recommend as the rumble features are very detailed and impressive in the controller. I’ve also tried playing handheld and the game looks great still on the screen however I have small hands and don’t find the Switch 2 joy cons comfortable to play on hence I did not play much in this mode to be able to comment. I’ve also bought Resident Evil Requiem on PS5 (base model) and graphically it does look a little better especially character hair, but environments are very similar and personally I would say I enjoy playing more on my Switch 2 than PS5 because of the Switch 2 pro controller rumble features. If you’re doubting Resident Evil performance on a Switch 2 console, I hope I’ve given you some reassurance that it’s one of the best Switch 2 ports of a game, with the exception that it lacks slightly in graphics. This generation pack does not include the “deluxe edition” of Resident Evil Requiem, and you will either need to purchase the deluxe edition separately (digitally or physically for £75) or on Nintendo Eshop for an additional £12 on top of getting the base game in this pack, if you want the deluxe edition. You will need about 75GB to download all 3 of these games, so keep that in mind and you may need to purchase an additional Micro SD Express card or delete games on your Switch 2 to make space. *Final note, these games are specifically for Switch 2 consoles and will not work on Switch 1 consoles!

Exceptional for the switch 2
Resident evil 9 requiem is absolutely amazing on the switch 2 has become my favourite of the series just ahead of Resi 4 remake. Having the other two Resi 7+8 gold edition is a huge bonus, and they run so smoothly with excellent graphics. Highly recommend if you’re a Resi fan and own a switch 2 an absolute must for your collection.

Great value
Not played yet, however I was unsure whether to buy the generation pack or the lenticular edition so bought both. Obviously great value here but I needed to mention I was very disappointed with the presentation as the picture clearly shows a faux leather style thick box to hold the 3 games. However it merely a printed sleeve on cardboard and I found it very misleading them using fake image to portray a better quality. Value wise you are effectively paying £10 each for RE7 and RE8 gold editions which you most likely can sell for more individually.

Great game, Great edition
Exactly the product described. I was lucky to found it in the Amazon UK Store because now it's way too expensive!

Damaged box
Very disappointing for a limited edition. The box art arrived damaged (see picture). For a collectible edition, the condition of the box is part of the product itself and a major part of its value. When the box is damaged, the item is no longer really a “limited edition” in the condition collectors expect. Because of this, the product I received does not match the value or expectations associated with a limited edition release.
