Usborne Complete First Book of Nature (First Nature)

I originally got this book from a thrift store and loved it. The images are detailed without being too much and it is easy to read. Perfect for kiddos who love learning about nature or as a earth science book for young homeschoolers. My mom borrowed it to read to my niece and she liked it so much, we had to order her her own copy. Lol

As a homeschooling mother of a 7 and 4 year old, I am constantly on the lookout for good science books. I must say, I am very pleased with this book. Each page is informative, fun, and interesting. Yesterday, my older son asked if we could keep reading. He would sit through it all in one day, if I let him. I would highly recommend this book.

Wonderful book! The amount of information in this book is wonderful, and the illustrations bright-- not boring. It's a little bit much information per page for my 3 year old daughter right now- but I just pick out bits on each page to read her- and that works well to keep her attention. Wonderful book. You won't be disappointed.

This was a wonderful addition to our nature library. We have not looked through it entirely yet, but the illustrations and information, while maybe not completely "current" is still useful and informative. We really love the Usborne books and the amount of information they supply. We have fun translating the book from story to real life.

Wonderful reference book! I love how it gives just enough information for a young child with the possibility of exploring further. The illustrations are gorgeous, too.Because it covers several nature study topics, we can use this for any study that we want!

Great book with tons of information. I read about 2 pages a day with my almost 4 year old daughter and she has learned so much already!

This is a very good nature guide, it has a wonderful collection of knowledge. I own several and this is a go to, and favorite.
