I've had this washer and dryer unit for a few years now. They look great but I've been really unhappy with the pedestals. I've had to replace the latch 3 times already. Electrolux isn't an inexpensive brand and I expected everything to continue working without any problems a long time. Electrolux gave me the first two latches for free, but now they wanted to charge me over $50 for a small piece of plastic that probably only costs a few dollars to make. Luckily, I was able to find a generic latch on Amazon for $12. I won't be buying Electrolux again!
