CMT DAG-001 Digital Angle Gauge

Like them a lot

It's....ok. But it's not square. I placed this on my table saw after leveling it. Zero'd it, removed it and placed it back. Still at zero. But when I turned it on it's side it was off by .7* I checked this with my digital protractor that I know is good. The body of the Digital Angle Gauge is off by .7*. I then compared this to my protractor. As long as I use the magnetic base side it's good. I don't trust the sides now. Which is a shame because I wanted to use it to level my saw blades vs. table.

Nice protractor. I'm a union electrician and bend pipe up to 4" on many occasions. I bought the protractor to bend offsets,kicks and 90s on pipe between 2-1/2 to 4". The protractor gives the perfect angel every time. The zero feature is great because the bender is not always level, but with the zero feature it doesn't matter. The only down side is the magnets could be stronger, but it has never fallen off when I used it

Easy to use for aligning bevels on my table saw, disc sander and miter saw. Down side, I can not align miter cuts and miter guages. Just got Bosch miter angle which works on both bevel and miter. The CMT Dag-001 is better for bevels on short runs as on a saw blade, however.

I use this to check the angle of my table saw blade in reference to the table top. It has magnetic sides so that it sticks to the blade with no hands letting me focus on dialing in the angle. Only two buttons on it so there is no getting confused on how to use it. I have checked it against angle guides and it is right on every time.

Perfect for what I need, still somewhat old fashioned in that I don't always trust electronics but this makes set up of angles easier than using a bevel or protractor head.

I just purchased it about a month ago. It feels solid and is heavy and does not have a cheap feel to it. The exterior housing is metal and not cheap plastic. It is so easy to set up your fence or your blade at 90 degrees. It literally takes seconds to get an exact set up as opposed to using my square. I highly recommend it.

Strumento indispensabile per misurare la verticalità di determinate strutture. Molto comoda e semplice da usare. Precisione del decimo di grado, che va bene per le mie attrezzature, alcune hobbistiche, altre pro. Le misure effettuate in confronto con altri strumenti mi ha dato un buona risposta in termini di precisione e accuratezza, per cui lo posso ritenere abbastanza affidabile nelle misurazioni. Lo strumento si colloca in una fascia di prezzo mediana (ce ne sono anche di più economici), la precisione dichiarata è del decimo di grado, più che sufficiente per i miei scopi. Altri strumenti che arrivano al centesimo di grado, di fatto, mi hanno dato problemi di taratura (non si raggiunge mai lo zero preciso), oltre che per questo prezzo abbastanza economico non ne viene certificata la precisione (allora a cosa serve?). Display illuminato, ma la protezione del visore (quella sopra) poteva essere un pochino più robusta.

Finalmente non devo impazzire più per avere angoli precisi, sia al banco sega che su alcuni lavori di rampette che ho fatto. Comodo, facile da usare e con un magnete molto forte.

Lo uso per regolare l'inclinazione del banco sega oppure della troncatrice radiale con il massimo della precisione. Calamita molto comoda. Prodotto di qualità. Marchio CMT una garanzia.
